overal is a much polished series than forza, in gran turismo it has races for everyone. the simple no tire damage for the more casual gamers. and for the people who love a real race they can play with car damage and tire damage (car damage only effects internal performance from what i know). Gran turismo is successful cause it is so accessible and yet so deep. Has anyone completed a Gran turismo game (ps2 and up) fully? gotten every car, won every race with gold and tuned every car to its opt...
in gt5's video cutscenes, no console can perform the super realistic "ray tracing" thats running in that, ray tracing makes objects look incredibly realistic, just look on wikipedia, i someone's managed to pull off ray tracing on ps3 but it took 3-5 ps3's to get it to run as smoothly as it did in that video.
IF ign gives the game below 9.5 are we guna burn down microsoft to stop paying review sites.
This is an incredible step forward, more so than the wiimote nintendo made. to be onest im surprised this 3d thing is as quiet as it is. i hope that doesnt kill it just like it did with the electric cars. (yes there were excelent electric cars that everyone who tried loved it, sadly it didnt get much publicity and stayed reletivly quiet so it never picked up and eventually got taken down.

Isn't this already in games? such as shadow of the collosus it'll give you a hint and the computer will "take over" by highlighting a spot or something? You can also turn off these hints. Also if nintendo is getting a patent would this mean no other game is allowed to do this without their permission? Correct me if i'm wrong because i didn't read the whole article.
Don't forget to wait, as theres always bugs with new released software, specially with microsoft's OS so if you ask me i'd wait till the bugs are fixed, we thought vista was great until they released it and everyone had issues with it.
oh it also says it teaches kids poor values. well thats completly opinion. Before video we had parents teaching kids their values (they still do mostly) some taught their kids how to hunt, some taught their kids how to cook, some taught their kids how to make gift cards. clearly they arnt the same values as animal killing is bad to some but good sport for others. If you don't think the games teach good values. DON'T BUY IT!!!! Buy them wii sport instead, thats 'good'.

haha thats true. with my equipment i'd bearly call myself a hard core pc gamer, i use a laptop and it runs bioshock on highest settings 1280x720 at a rough frame rate but it ranges from 10-30 fps
gaming at its finest.
it also runs crysis on medium at 800x600 which to me was impressive :P
i'd love a demo, i missed out on the beta which really fvckd me off. A demo would let me see whether i shuld give into the hype of the game or not. please explain yourself why there shouldnt ever be one.
It may not seem like it and the companies certainly disagree with it but if you ask me this 'stealing' of games is actually slowing down the industry. Microsoft would rather steal the popular games than actually help develope a brand knew game franchise. they made halo 3 and gears of war come to life, but now they're just stealing games like final fantasy and devil may cry when they could be making their own NEW games. oh man that is low of microsoft. they're not even the first to do it. technically computers are consoles, and you can play music in the background with itunes, so according to that im not allowed to listen to my own music with itunes while playing a game.
