Huge mistake. Exclusives have always been what drives people to your platform. It’s the same with TV, Netflix, and definitely gaming.
I've tried built in gamepass streaming. I subbed for one month, played the few exclusives I wanted to play, and then quit my subscription. So $19 total was my spend with Microsoft. Where as Playstation I've spent thousands. I really don't think microsoft has a good strategy going here.

Warning. These deals won’t last. Microsoft is trying to get as many people on board as possible and is losing money doing this. They will either stop giving such good games up front. Or more likely will dramatically raise the price of subscription, and push game purchase prices up higher.
Ai is a tool. It can be used to speed up things like creating variations in trees and buildings. But shouldn’t be used to make a game completely from scratch. But 20%? 30%? What if it’s used well to give every pedestrian in gta a unique voice, personality, or even whole life with work and a home to go to?
Xbox is near dead. I know they're pushing gamepass really hard and think that's going to be a success. But the nature of it is you sign up for a months worth, play the very few good exclusives on xbox, and then cancel. Instead of having spent thousands of dollars, I've spent $30 and that's it.
Gaming has always been poorly advertised in New Zealand. If we ever got a tv ad for a game I got so excited about it.

At first I was thinking it's just going to do both platforms poorly. But as a mac only user. There's quite a few indie co-op games that I'm only seeing pop up on steam. Maybe it's not bad for that? I don't want a PC. I want a couch experience.
