Exactly, not even close. AND Max Payne is incredibly dated today. In other words, if you were to play the first hour of Max Payne at 4K you would cringe at the voice acting/script (like you did in 2001) AND at the awkward animations of simply moving the character around, which even looked bad a year later. There is still a charm and style to it though.

Damn, was kinda hoping AC would go that route eventually. I mean they already have the horses down since the first game, horse and carriages work pretty well in AC Syndicate and they also brought quick fire revolvers into that game too.

Same here, although I did check out AC Syndicate eventually when the Big Ben Edition came down to 50 quid on their store late last year and the 20% Uplay points helped out even more. :)
But yeah, like EA this gen, I haven't touched any of their games except for Far Cry 4 and the 2 ACs.

Exactly. I don't see where people get excited for this game. It reminds me very much of the step down from Onimusha 2 to Onimusha 3.
RE went from a great looking game with prerendered backgrounds on PS1, that pushed that hardware to its limits, to a mediocre looking 3D environment game. True but some games are disappointing, in a current gen scope way, from Japan. As great as Persona 5 is, its essentially a PS3 game at 1080p. We should have got it back in 2009 for PS3 and it would have been even more stunning back then. Persona 6 should have been out by now as a full PS4 exclusive.
Look at the new Dragon Quest XI. DQ IX was a crappy DS (PS1) looking game that went backwards after DQ VIII and DQ X was some online only mess. Now they finally showed off DQ XI...
Its like the launch and still CURRENT release of Mass Effect Andromeda. These people that all bought it knew what they were getting into.

@moldybread I miss the days of past Sony exclusive deals. Deals where we LITERALLY got something for free like the Joker DLC for Arkham Asylum or all the Assassin's Creed FREE DLCs. Xbox never did that. Whenever Microsoft paid for something exclusive YOU paid for it like Tomb Raider Underworld DLC for instance.
