The series needs to turn things around? Since when? If its not broke don't fix it. Now if its Mass Effect Andromeda then.......................... http://i647.photobucket.com... fix it.
It was so good and the twists just kept coming.
Sweet, even that game somehow had more character development and personality than the entire MGS V lol.
@Woolly_ But it must be accurate. Where are the usual lackeys to present a rebuttal? Where is yours to prvoe otherwise? You couldn't even muster up a wee "in my opinion" excuse let alone hard facts/history argument.
Oh and "ugh its on Neogaf that is full of developers and people in the industry, so it MUST be nonsense, am I right folks eh???" just doesn't cut it.
Now people finally understand my outrage throughout last summer after E3 when every moron website were doing articles saying "Sony announce games too early and nobody else ever does".
@lelo2play Or if we were all like you, if its on the internet it must be false.
I was playing Arkham City yesterday and Calendar Man told a story about Mother's Day. I didn't get it because Mother's Day was 2 months ago here in Ireland. I wasn't aware Mother's Day fell on different days in different countries.
@daBUSHwhaka Exactly "Death Stranding Could Deviate From Metal Gear Solid's Storytelling In Several Ways". To me that means it will have Phantom Pain levels of story telling i.e. NONE and ZERO character development. A "Metal Gear Solid" game it was not.
@_-EDMIX-_ It was nothing to do with Konami. That was the game Kojima wanted to make. Fair enough, some form of Act III was cut or something but I had long given up on the game before getting to that ...
Did Microsoft ask if Xbone owners prefer online focused games going forward? Seems like a great opportunity for them to finally realise the direction they are going is the wrong one with a lot of their exclusives.
And QA was clearly not carried out on that unit lol.
It would have been great if Sony and Valve still got on to a degree with the launch of PS4. Portal 2 supported cross buy and cross saves AND cross play too between STEAM and PS3 (not just Windows Vista garbage like Microsoft tried to forced last gen).
And that's not just Win 10 either, its cross play on Windows XP, Vista, 8, 10, Mac and Linux too. It would have been glorious had Sony and their always open network infrastructure and Valve kept those channels open on the, easier t...
Haha yeah. With Vita you literally can play anywhere since the launch of PS4. I never really understood that "play anywhere" that Microsoft have been calling it, when you couldn't possibly bring a laptop and controller everywhere with you.
Or why is it always marketed that way? People would be under the impression that Naughty Dog never made an "open world" game before but the Jak and Daxter series is DEFINITELY just that. From the starting area of Jak and Daxter (and if you don't die) you can run from (and use a zoomer for some of it too) to the end of the game with no loading times or new areas needing to be loaded in.
If a new Jak and Daxter was made tomorrow, you bet your ass the words open ...
Artstation have put up a new "Art Blast" from a lot of the artists that were involved with Horizon Zero Dawn. https://magazine.artstation... Some amazing stuff here and you can click on each artists name individually to get a larger look at their portfolio.
Like this portfolio for Dan Calvert, the character art director, has a nice section of individual character r...
When one of the developers tweeted the other day that the latest patch was ready to go live, they also made it clear they are not done with fixing the game. So there is hope for a lot of us that we may check this game out one day. :)
None, main series FF games are dead to me.
@gangsta_red HOW many times do you have to be told it will easily be 400 quid after that CPU spec reveal??? But please, keep gloating in 3 weeks time that we all said it would cost 2000 quid and that the announced 400 quid is now the game changer of the generation.
With literally an install base of zero. How? Just how??? And just to make it more clear, there are people who try to claim PSVR isn't a success. The VR format that pretty much sold more than all the other VR formats combined isn't a success. Let that sink in a minute or 20.
@uptownsoul The only way Scorpio could become mainstream is if it launched at 200 quid. But we all know it will be launching at around 400 quid so it just isn't going to happen. People will s...
Exactly. If you already have the console that can make great use of a 2007 full 1080p TV and play the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn, there is no need to upgrade your console until PS5 comes. But the choice is there.
The same can't be said about Xbone though. Its a NECESSITY for hardcore Xboner fans to grab that Scorpio the day of launch so at least that decade old TV can finally get some proper use now (don't worry, I'm sure they will all be here throughout the yea...
Fair points coming from someone who has a PS4 and still wants to experience all the games it has to offer.
No. 4 misses the point though. Not only did the DVD drive help the PS2 sell as a DVD Player BUT developers were able to utilise this brand new next gen optical storage. PS3 did the same again with the Bluray drive being able to help out developers alleviating storage barriers. This is not the case with a UHD Bluray drive in PS4 as games cannot use these discs and the ...
