@moldybread It IS kind of a benefit though that PSN and PC are the only games that talk to each other when making a game from the beginning. Xbox Live can't support massive multiplayer games, for example, like MAG's 256 players on PSN back in 2010. That number grew to at least 64 players, this much we know, at the start of this gen with Battlefield 4 on Xbox Live. Now this game will eventually do 100 players when it launches.

Its quite hilarious, shooting yourself in the foot, marketing alright lol. Market it for the specific console with a current install base of Zero over all the other established platforms or console versions. It reminds me of disasters that EA did earlier in the gen like missing out on millions of sales of Plants vs Zombies in early 2014 because they chose to make it a timed exclusive on Xbone (although we know that deal was signed BEFORE the worse games console reveal in history).

Or any Ubisoft game for any platform for that matter and that includes AC too. Remember how over excited everybody was for AC III and AC Unity and what disasters they turned out to be? The latter destroyed the name of the franchise forever and that was also marketed on Xbox first.

@moldybread Yet the only people that got screwed over with PS3 were the ones who WOULDN'T pay for one earlier at its more expensive price. And they had no argument then about missing out on anything.
Now with 360 it was the complete opposite. The early adopters of 360 were the ones constantly screwed. Don't forget Xbox ADDED things like a HDMI port afterwards.

But seriously, no, that was a completely new slim 360 console, not a hardware revision of a current 360 model. Just like the 360 model version that came with a HDMI port in October 2007 after everybody went out and bought an expensive Elite in August to get a HDMI port on their 360 consoles.
I doubt this is 100% real, its just a place holder name by Play Asia for now, the game cover used is just the standard cover from last February too. They probably called it the GOTY Edition to give everybody a heads up to what it is. It could turn out to be called something like Ultimate Edition
I don't think so. Take the recently released Fallout 4 GOTY Edition. Turns out all this new version of the game has, is all the patches up to 1.14 or 1.15 on the disc. You still have to download the latest patches released in the last month since that Edition went to print on disc.
THEN there is a code included with it that is pretty much the Season Pass and you still have to download all the 15gbs of DLC anyway.
It doesn't even show on the console as "Fallout 4...
Or maybe it will backfire. You all the donkey masses that DON'T know the game doesn't have a proper single player campaign will figure it out with the demo and not bother with it like the rest of us hardcore GT fans.

This is a PC game that is made on the multiplatform game engine Unreal Engine 4 that even SWITCH supports too. It is a game that out of nowhere become the number one trend and now Microsoft all of a sudden wants to sign a not on PlayStation check for it.
