What a horrible console. Then again, call it a Metal Gear Solid 3 Limited Edition PS4 and its awesome. :)
@WePlayDirty Haha that was some epic detective work there mate. Well done. :) Now you are just creating future contradictions with Woolly getting him to pretend to be a Switch fan now and NOT a one console fanboy which NOBODY is buying into lol.
Don't forget State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves also. BOTH these games along with Crackdown 3 also have a generic release placeholder so far. And people even thought earlier this year that some of these games would have been releasing this year or at least definitely receive solid release day dates by now.
But of course, forget that noise, lets keep the "only Sony are the ones who announce games too early" myth alive.
@moldybread Its certainly a great argument. Imagine having TOO many epic and incredibly mind blowing games coming out for your console that you don't know when to release them all lol. Thanks for putting it into perspective for once.
@seanpitt23 I guess so but they have still done more work than so many other devs this gen.
The past 4 years Naughty Dog
- released The Last of Us in Summer 2013 (which only launched a year and a half after Uncharted 3 I might add)
- got to work on the Left Behind expansion and released it early 2014
- then The Last of Us Remastered with Left Behind included launched Summer 2014
- they helped out Bluepoint a little bit with Uncharted Dra...
And if you still aren't convinced, you may be come PGW, the VGAs AND PSX 2017, just like PSX last year sold tonnes of new PS4 consoles with that The Last of Us Part II reveal alone.
So true, did that with my PS3 in 2008 when I stuck a 500gb hard drive into it back then for only €70.
Well done and its deserves it too. It sure took a long time since the launch of the last Everybody's Golf game on Vita in Feb 2012 but going by its well received reviews and excellent €40 price point, it was worth the wait. ^_^
Funny, they have no problem "distracting" 343i's development time lol http://n4g.com/news/2109112...
And those guys, as we know, need all the concentration when making a new Halo game they can get.
Any hope they can go back and make the animation system actually worthy of this gen? I guess it being a 360 game was always going to hold it back though like most cross gen games this generation.
Or distract anybody with practically no exclusives whatsoever either. Seriously though, RE VII VR is already here since 9 months ago. It wouldn't have taken much effort to bring it over for Xbox fans.
Then again, who in their right mind would want to make VR games for XboneX anyway? PSVR has sold a million units since a year ago and that is with a 50 million+ install base. Sales of VR games for XboneX would be practically worthless for devs to spend any amount of time o...
Nope, one has Classic Sonic that is awesome, the other has a miniature version of Classic Sonic where the stages looks to big for him and have been made for some other moron Sonic's design first. Avoiding the latter like the plague.
That's what Vita Remote Play since day one has been all about. If being able to play a game anyehre is the biggest game changer to both of you, clearly you have a PS4 and Vita this past 4 years and Remote Play on them all the time.
If not, I guess gaming on the go ISN'T as big a deal you make out.
Reminds me of the back of the game box for the game Disney Th!nk Fast. It was pretty much a Disney Buzz game and people on the Wii can use their remotes as the "buzzers". But the picture on the back in some regions used the same one as the PS2 and it had all the family holding PlayStation Buzz controllers lol.
@shloobmm3 And XboneX owners (the ZERO amount of them so far anyway) can thank Sony for their GDDR5 PS4 and the fact that devs have a lot of experience working with this architecture on a console over the last 4 year now.
Do Sony thank Microsoft for launch PS4 game, Resogun, getting 4K enhancements and HDR? Is the Xbone equivalent, Lococycle, getting 4K enhancements hahaha?
That's where you are wrong. GB have always had a bigger bias towards Xbox. Look at silly artciles like this for reference. https://gamingbolt.com/xbox...
Look at the damage control even from earlier in the gen. Whenever there was even a CARETAKER at a gaming development studio that made a comment on Xbone's awkward eSRAM ar...
Partial BC, where you have to download the game or you are screwed, wins again. Not always the case though.
I have a cousin who was asking me about buying an Xbone for Xmas and if it was worth it. She didn't know about the partial BC with the kid's Xbox 360 games. We did a check of the kids 15 360 games they accumulated over the years such as various Lego Games, other games the kid is into like Super Hero games like Iron Man and the WWE games.
Not a SINGLE...
Called it. :) Its the "Complete Edition" https://pbs.twimg.com/media...
You have to wonder what else this team is up to. Kara was a tech demo shown at GDC in March 2012 running on PS3 hardware. Then 3 months later they threw a curve ball and announced Beyond Two Souls.
It makes you think will their next game be something related to the The Dark Sorcerer tech demo shown at E3 2013. https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Really? When I remember the Final Fantasy series being amazing in general, Final Fantasy IX finally launched for PS1 in Europe.................. and 5 months later the next gen Final Fantasy X launched in Japan, no joke and no exaggeration. THAT was how masterful they were at churning out these GOTY, 10/10 classics.
So we are now 11 months after the release of FFXV. FFXVI coming in 2024 the earliest? Great. Lol how could a FFXVI POSSIBLY launch anytime soon when they haven&...
