@JJShredder Nope. I've been saying the online focus in this game completely sucks since the confirmation of the crappy "campaign" earlier in the year.
Funny you say that. Since Gran Turismo 5, the GT series has definitely not gotten any kind of special inexcusable "review" treatment like the Legend of Zelda or the Forza series continues to get even when they release games in those series with massive drawbacks.
@Gman32 So much for your "60 comments". Nothing here but the typical paranoia of an xbox fanboy.
Ironically Bioware already made that almost 20 years ago. This HAD potential alright but its in the gutter now. At least we can all agree EA are the MASTERS at going out of their way to destroy any hype for an upcoming game.
Thank goodness for those Mr Plinkett Star Wars reviews because I never would have got that "vote of no confidence" reference.
Which in turn damaged RE7's sales. I know I didn't touch it but I will definitely be picking up the complete edition when its out.
I have yet to buy one of those this gen. I the only 2 games I had my eyes on were Mirrors Edge Reboot and Mass Effect Andromeda and they turned out to be horrendous. And that was without loot boxes lol.
And Bullfrog.
Gamers are losing a GT game that had the potential to be purchasable by me. Oh well, better luck next time Kaz.
Lol, the end of THIS decade is 2020. *facepalm
"After being Announced."
Half Life 3 was never announced though. What we were waiting for the last 10 years is for them to "announce" that they were making the game.
Wild did get an update a year later after its announcement at Paris Game Week in 2015 but I guess that is nearly 2 years later now.
Below is a great example of a game that has gone missing in action for years, it was even at E3 2013.
Agent by Ro...
Cliffy B was saying the same thing about 5 years ago and yet a game that released the exact same day as his newest flop was an epic single player experience with ZERO added online transactions that was the highest selling game for the month of August. I am talking about Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice of course.
So it isn't all glum.
Wait, so not only was the single player Star Wars game "trailer", from E3 a year and a half ago, crap because they spent 95% of the trailer showing us the offices where the game was being made. But now that office and developer team, that were shown, aren't even representative of the final product.
And people complained that the E3 2016 Spider-man trailer wasn't in-game or didn't looked that great.
And at the same time they know how to give NOT give the fans the games that they want. Imagine the amount of people out there aged 16 to 25, right now, that would give anything for a Skate 4.
On the console with a current user base of zero? How? In what reality? And don't forget that most Xbone EXCLUSIVES this past 4 years barely hit the 1 million sales mark.
So how would it "do well" on XboneX then? Can you define what you mean by "do well". At this point, selling 100 units of Lawbreakers is "doing well".
Don't forget Oddworld. That series went down the toilet over a decade after they decided to Bring Munche's Oddysee to Xbox over PS2.
Lawwhat? What is the name of this game again lol and why would Xbox owners buy a game nobody, even on PC, wants to play?
Same here. This time last year I was getting ready to preorder my first EA game this gen, Mass Effect Andromeda. Then that VGAs trailer happened in December and that was the end of that lol. And now, the only other game I had my eye on and that's dead to me too.
That didn't need no Frostbite game engine either.
The most shocking thing about that quote is, what the hell does Amy Hennig have to say about this?
"We needed to pivot the design." That sounds EXACTLY like an interfering publisher that is going to ruin relationships with an elite creative designer working on their current game.
Wut? Its been nearly 7 years since Dead Space 2. So its been well known over half a decade that EA aren't going to let Visceral make any incredible original games anymore. Even this Star Wars game meant nothing so far without a single shred of actual gameplay.
I was already content a long time ago with the fact that Visceral where a studio that were never going to get back to that elite level of developer status.
Wow, would be great if a substantial lot of you would BUY your versions of these contraptions then, what with their being SO many games and a huge potential userbase base and all.
