Its an Unreal Engine 4 game, of course PS4 will be getting it eventually and it won't be too hard to bring over either since its a very friendly multiplatform game engine anyway.
@KionicWarlord222 Look at it this way, its CERTAINLY the next gen console you should have got this gen over the Xbone you paid 500 quid for 4 years ago. Thank goodness for BC too.................. you get to FINALLY play COD Ghosts for 360 on, even a standard, Xbone at 1080p.
With visuals clearly being the most important thing to you, going off your comments above anyway, Xbone must have been a horrible thing for you to put up with over half of this console generation so fa...
Who on earth is convincing themselves it won't be more powerful though? When has Sony ever released a next gen console that WASN'T substantially more powerful or advanced than current gen consoles? For a start it will probably do GDDR6 architecture as the next standard for the beginning of the gen. :)
And yet still can't right now because we are still only 1 year and 3 months into the 1 year and 5 months until its release since E3 2017. But man, the way people talk about the console, they make it sound like it was released 5 months ago lol.
Another great example of this sort of thing is the awesome way that Switch players can play against Xbox players in Rocket League........................ ... except the game still isn't out on Switch yet and I don't think ...
You have obviously never experienced the start of God of War 3 where the area you are running on is literally a living creature. Or how about even the part in the first game where a Titan is carrying around a palace that you are inside in the middle of a desert. It blows your mind later on when you have to go outside to get further up the building and then you see the Titan carrying it again.
Try and know even a tiny bit of ANYTHING about a game series before spoutungboff ...
I actually preferred it over Uncharted 4. The pacing is do good just like Uncharted 1 and 2. You are at the main location right at the beginning or a chapter or 2 into the game.
None of this jumping all over world between chapters before getting to the main goal location eventually.
Please do go on, that is one hell of a list Fox. I agree with it all :)
Lol so true.
Rare being bought by anybody other than Microsoft is definitely a big one. Think of what they could have done the past 15 years with a different owner and all the head honchos hadn't left in 2002
Apparently 4 years wasn't enough time to implement it.
Why does it have to keep that momentum? What will happen to PlayStation if they don't? Nothing that's what. You will have crap to say regardless.
@KionicWarlord222 What about him simply saying "8gbs GDDR5" for PS4 and breaking the internet in February 2013? Like you would ever admit that was the biggest game changer of this gen. PS4 is the only system the past 4 years that has game engines that make use of this architecture exclusively (remember, even on the standard console too) and more games on the way too that will still utilise this.
And you talk about "selective hearing" lol.
Been saying it since the reveal CG trailer. Just don't bother with the game.
Turns out it IS just like Generations again and that means classic Sonic is too small for the levels because they have been designed for lankier modern Sonic first.
He looks like Honey I Shrunk the Hedgehog on the levels and once you see it, you can't unsee it. Enemies, ledges are all huge in size compared to him, lol, he doesn't even fill a tunnel in size that he spins throu...
"Where are the MS accounts for Rocket League?"
Lol, we don't know yet. Isn't cross play between Xbox and Switch on Minecraft and Rocket Leagues not even actually available yet.
It's funny because people are talking since E3 as if it can be done right right now.
Rocket League isn't even out on Switch and Cross Play launched last week on Minecraft WITHOUT the Switch support.
They should do it alright but they certainly don't "need to".
What did people expect would happen when two of the biggest selling franchises of the nation, Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter were lazily re-released over and over again on portable consoles and a proper current gen console version, for the time, just never happened.
The Pokémon games, another huge portable seller, could be added to that list too but then that series was ALWAYS two console generations behind in tech even in the late 90s.
What about that jarring thing where enemy animations run at 30fps when they get to 10ft and above in front of you? Is that compromise still present?
No, this game sold worse than 6 because 6 was garbage lol and add Revelations 1 and 2 to that steaming pile too. WHY would I buy RE7 with the state the series is in? I don't care how much people hyped up 7, I had ZERO faith in the series by that point. The same thing happened to sales with AC Syndicate all because of the dumpster fire that was AC Unity.
Now that I have heard nothing but great things about RE7 (apart from you obviously) I may actually check out this new ...
Can't believe they left out next gen architecture just like standard PS4 had at its launch from the get go i.e. GDDR5. PS5 should have GDDR6 as the next gen standard and we can start to see devs like ND, Guerilla Games, Quantic Dream and Santa Monica building their game engines from the ground up for a stunning new generation again. :)
Also, yeah, a 4K drive obviously, but only if we are talking about in the context of PS2 having a DVD drive or PS3 having a Bluray driv...
Which one? Yakuza Kiwami? Uncharted Lost Legacy? Everybody's Golf? All released a month ago, some even less than a month ago.
The way we DO talk though is the fact that PS4 DOES get great exclusives or 3rd party games or indies pretty much every week.
And in the end THAT is what is very important. Not JUST exclusives, not JUST 3rd party games (which is important on Xbox now with X coming out), and not JUST indies (which is apparently now only important for Xb...
