The $ seems more appropriate for M$ as they are the only ones holding your internet access to ransom.
I pay my internet provider for my internet so why exactly are M$ hiding it behind a pay wall, could it be your so called premium service isn't worth the subscription fee, M$ obviously realise this hence blocking online gaming,
whether I can afford it or not makes no difference as I would never support such an obvious scam.
Preparedforwar it isn't difficult to understand, you pay your internet provider for your internet access which allows you to browse the web watch netflix online gaming etc except when you try to do it on an xbox, WHY because M$ have seen fit to block your internet access and force you to pay to get it back and you defend it.
I am well aware of PS+ the difference is obvious but if your not sure i'll explain, first of all nothing has been taken away (internet access) se...
lol.
I find it funny that Blu-ray is also a form of entertainment but ironically microsofts so called entertainment console won't be able to play them.
Apologies WB27 was a bit over the top, but on principle I will never consider an xbox while they take away your internet and charge you to get it back, your argument is flawed the phone hotspots and cable charges are for something those companies provide.
M$ do not provide your internet that is what you pay your internet provider for, if online was free but M$ charged $60 for cross game chat I might think people are mad to pay it but at least you would be paying for something...
WB27 if that is supposed to be some sort of defence for M$ it isn't, they take away your internet access and hold it to ransom an internet connection you pay your internet provider for and are forced by M$ to pay again.
If you can't see the problem with that then you really are blind and the sort of sucker M$ are more than happy to take advantage of.
it's not a shame it makes perfect sense especially when M$ charge for online, if M$ continue with the same crap and more is coming next gen by the sound of it, they don't deserve anyones support.
In a world full of shooters Quantic make for a refreshing change, Sony really do have some great developers creating some wonderfully diverse gaming experiences, will definitely be interested to see what Quantic have in store for the PS4.
Of course it would be a disadvantage but they take away your internet access and force you to pay to get it back which is a major disadvantage but that didn't stop them doing it,
surely people are not gonna continue to put up with this crap.
Free online is a minimum, M$ take YOUR internet away and force you to pay to get it back, I'm amazed they got away with it surely xbox owners will not put up with it again?
Out of principle the xbox is not even a cosideration for me while this obvious con exist's
There is no war as the PS4 will be the only one I would consider as long as M$ continue with their online tax.
Of course you will see big numbers for multi plats on the 360 apart from Halo and the few other first party games, they have nothing else to buy, you have far more choice and variety with the Playstation, it's pretty obvious to anyone who cares to look
As long as Sony don't copy M$ online tax, I will be trusting Sony and the PS4 to innovate and cater for my gaming needs.
I don't believe the PS4 exist's but then again I think the moon landings were fake and Elvis is alive and kicking living in Manchester.
I had a launch PS3 and it died of YLOD (out of warranty just) my second one went the same way, but my daughters and my slim are both still going strong, there was definitely a problem with early PS3,s and it shouldn't be just brushed under the carpet, but it has been fixed and was nowhere near as bad as the 360 RROD.
bluetoto made some very good points, anyone buying the PS3 was buying the complete package, Blu-Ray, HDMI,Wireless,Harddrive, bulit in and lets not forget the free online.
Initially anyone looking at the xbox might seem like a good deal but by the time you have factored in bringing it up to anything like the PS3 (you can't add Blu-Ray) you are spending a lot more, (how much was M$ selling their harddrive and wifi adapter for which you had to use instead of being able to bu...
As has been said the opposite normally happens to what he says, so I'm quite relieved he didn't choose the PS.
LOL
My Smart TV does enough for me to be king of my living room. But what can the Next Box do to distinguish it from itself
they could make you pay to access it, oh my bad they already do!!!!
Of course it matters or we would still be happy gaming on the playstation 1, Sony certainly seem to have set the bar high for next gen console gaming and as long as they don't charge for online gaming they seem to be in the box seat as far a performance and features go.
