Everything I have seen concerning PSVR people are wearing headphones, I doubt they will come with the systen though.
I was thinking the same, I wouldn't have thought it too difficult to allow a PS4 game access to the extra processing power if you own a PSVR.
It would just be one more reason to own\ get into VR.
Thats because he took the blue pill.
Fine knock yourself out, I'll stick with VR thanks, whether thats Oculus, or PSVR etc it has to be better than that pile of poo.
UUGH and people wonder why gamers didn't want Kinect.
Strikepackage Bravo your comment to me just proves VR's potential, because lets face it your predictions so far this gen have been so abysmally wrong, it's frankly hilarious.
Luckily DrFraud your opinion won't change VR's success, you unlike the first post you are entering with a closed mind and painted yourself into a corner desperate to prove you are right.
Whether it PSVR or some other device, once out of the bottle VR will only grow.
Rhezin, Move controllers are perfect for operating in 3D space, you need to understand using them in a virtual world will work much better than with a 2d display.
The Move tech is a big plus for the PS4 and it's VR ambitions.
Which is fair enough, you're keeping an open mind, but I really think you are underestimating the impact VR will have.
Sorry Alexious I can only see VR taking off, it won't happen overnight but once the genie is out of the bottle and VR is explored, those issues will be solved.
VR is here to stay in my opinion.
This is the thing people don't seem to understand, unlike 3D TV, Kinect etc VR has an impact that leaves a deep impression, VR has a wow that makes you take notice and wearing a headset worthwhile.
All the people continually bringing up 3D TV, Kinect etc show is how blind they are to what VR is and it's huge potential going forward.
I have a feeling you will be the one with egg on your face DRFraud, In my opinion VR is here to stay and will only grow.
Fin it connects to the PS4, via a box that that helps out refesh rates etc, because of the need to keep framerate and refresh rate high the headset will be connected by cable.
Not ideal but these are early days for VR, as it establishes itself these issues will be worked on and solved, but for now it is what it is. it is something to consider for the programmers, which i'm sure will take into account.
Thats the biggest thing about VR, people who knock it don't understand what makes it special, once it is out in the hands of consumer word of mouth will sell it more than any advertising can possibly hope.
I know I'm getting VR and the people who try it I'm sure will have there eyes opened in the same way.
Ermac there are certain rules that apply to VR and a consistent framerate is one of them (because of motion sickness) because of that no game will be allowed to fluctuate in framerate, even if it's at the cost of graphics, framerate will stay steady.
VR is happening and it's not going away, get used to it.
I have to laugh at all the people who fall into the trap of comparing 3D TV to VR, that in itself is enough to show how little they understand about VR.
A lot of people it would seem are going to be surprised by the impact VR is going to have and not just in gaming.
Good? it's a fantasic lineup, PS4 owners have a lot to look forward to for sure.
Bring it on Sony bring it on.
Starting, it's been obvious for years, VGcharts numbers should never be taken seriously.
Yes been out of PC gaming for a while but VR and oculus might draw me back, PSVR is a definite.
It will certainly enhance the gaming experience and has many opportunities outside of gaming, I'm sure VR is here to stay and will become another way to enjoy gaming, but not the only way.
