The crowd seems underwhelmed so far. There's like 20 people that make noise for whatever MS puts up, the rest seem kind of quiet.
Edit: Also in the next splinter cell game your straight up a bad guy. Middle eastern leaders say get your troops out of our countries or we bring the war to you. The us responds by sending in a terrorist to massacre their leaders.
Way to go ubisoft.
For ten hours of play a game should release at $30.
For a game to be worth sixty it either should be like skyrim in length if it's single player or if it has multiplayer it needs to have really good multiplayer. None of that tacked on multi bs
if they start streaming on a ps3 their not even going to think about ps4 for another couple of years at least.
There is a way to opt out. It's called playing games on one of the other ten systems you can play video games on.
Edit; For the record thats ps3 psvita wii nds 3ds iphone android pc web and board/card games. All of which currently have awesome games being released and in development.
Soon there will be a native steam client, and some valve games. Hopefully it encourages more companies to publish on linux.
Any one get the feeling that these leaks might be "Leaks"?
Edit: I've worked at a call center that wouldnt let you have a cellphone in the building. Other game companies big and small, and massive tech companies can keep better secrets than one of microsofts in house development studios?
If you had posted this a year ago I would have agreed whole heatedly. A lot can happen in a year though. I've personally made a majority shift to pc gaming. Only using my (non x360) console only seldomly for special exclusive games.
This shift was brought on by as you more or less describe a dirth of mediocre games the majority of which where multiplayer shooters. Which had neither very good single player nor very excellent multiplayer. Especially to my taste in multiplay...
They could put a 4g chip or whatever comes after that if they wait long enough. Then either charge monthly or foot the data costs themselves in return for the games pricing being wherever they would put it.
It sounds like it'll be good. Plus it's free so there's no reason not to try it. If it's anything like eve there should be some tactical element.
I'm looking forward to planetside 2.
Also MAG despite it's many short comings could at times be very tactical.
I think that when we start truly getting mmofps then we will start seeing coordinated tactics in the genre. When there's no player cap, no maps, just a large open persistent world with thousands of people playing all the time. As long as it's set up right for leaders to give directions to their units it should work out mostly.
Tech companies patent everything they can possibly think of. So if any other company tries to do something that say sony has patented they can charge them a fee for the ability to do so.
Excuse me. You forgot to put The Boss on your list of bad ass women.
Oh they totally will.
And then activision will hump it to death, then beat it like a horse.
It's because the publishers force them to make the new ip similar to the old ip so that they can market it more easily.
Also gullible people that totally fall for marketing.
I bet that they're porting star wars kinect to the move. Its probably timed exclusive.
We don't even know the actual specs on the wii-u yet and the ps4 isn't even announced
I'd play that.
For me; Mirrors edge, except 18th century london and you hunt supernatural beasts. Obviously the combat and controls would be fixed or polished.
for the fact that Move isn't quite as accurate for aiming as "the Wii (since it doesn't have an infrared receiver) " Actual quote.
This reviewer just seems really picky, with fairly minimal complaints.
This is true, but what the author said about episodic content is also a good way to go about things.
As long as they don't try to over price the small games it'll all be cool.
Hey man thats what happens when a game dev dabbles in controversial current events and propaganda.
Hey disagrees it's the truth. The middle east is a current warzone where america considers every male over the age of 14 a militant.
The splinter cell game devs essentially said that their leaders expressed a want of peace and the US sent sam fisher in to clean up.
Portraying the war like this is purely pro us propeganda. I know many of y...
