Everybody knows Geralt can pole-vault with his junk! It's canon that his size is so incomprehensible that our brains just can't render it... Polygon totally just confirmed this is canon ;)
Maybe him not having a penis is important to them because they've taken the fact you can sword-fight the wrong way.
This shall spark a revolution in dong physics! Certainly nothing is more important!
I would say Fallout 4 is a definite since it's right around that time where they'd announce it; and I'd be saying the same thing about TES6 if Fallout were the last game released and not Skyrim.
Especially before they try to make a mobile scam/game using that franchise as an attempt to milk their fanbase.
Nothing unless Rocksteady changes their minds. They stated they will not be doing any more super hero games.
I wouldn't mind if they stuck to a Skyrim-sized area and focused on improving AI and overhauling the shooting mechanics. Also a ton more customization and role-playing options.
The PC market also isn't quite as big as the console market, which has a bigger effect than piracy does.
The first game I played was WWF Warzone on the N64, but I didn't become a gamer for a while later. I got an XBox 360 and my first game was Oblivion, followed by the first Mass Effect which are what initially got me as interested in gaming as I am now.
The griffon has BROWN feathers and a white guy kills it; this game is totally racist, guys =p
To be fair, she did have some valid points. Her problem is she often catered to those with an extremist viewpoint of the issue while also taking some of her source material within a game out of context. I think anyone familiar with the gaming industry will agree that there is still the occasional moment where something sexist happens within a game or the industry itself.
However, our biggest problems lie in the fact that there are a minority of extremists on both sides attack...
It's without a doubt that they're going to announce Fallout 4 this year. It's right at that time where they'd typically make an announcement.
They said they were going to support the game for several years and it wasn't even finished on release, so it obviously isn't going to be finished now. Release the shell with good gameplay, then sell everything separate.
To an extent, yes, but that's only part of it. How they are telling the story and events determines whether or not it is mature. Similar to "it's not what you say, but how you say it", you know?
Possibly, but I would chalk it up to it being that you may be used to it when it comes to horror movies unless you were the same way as a kid. When it comes to attraction, it may be over-development. Pictures, vids, etc don't get to me; even strip clubs have me going "meh" because that's just paying to be teased. The real thing in-person with a real chance of anything happening is about all that gets me lol.
The brain is malleable to the point that it can be...
That's not what he's saying, there are a lot of games that are rated 'Mature' but aren't mature in any way. Ride to Hell Retribution's sex scenes are the perfect example. There's no context or reason behind them. It's literally you punch a guy in the face, followed by a "Hello", then an abrupt cut to you banging her. Things like this is why "mature content" was condescendingly put in quotes; it isn't mature content, it is merely sexual c...
A lot of 'R' rated movies aren't mature in the sense that any idiot can enjoy them. The same applies to video games.
Ride to Hell Retribution is an 'M' rated game, but is very immature. I'll use sex scenes as the comparison. In this game, you save some random woman. It then shows a ten-second scene of her thanking you, then it abruptly cuts to them banging. No context, no emotion, and has no point being there.
Witcher 2 is an 'M' rated game, but is actually a very mature game. Here, Geralt and Triss (who have an established relationship) find a spring surrounded by a nat...
TL;DR version: Because most of the brain doesn't know it's not real until the frontal lobe turns around and goes "yeah, not real". The frontal lobe is also among the last segments that processes the data; irrational thought met with logical thought, basically.
Also, I love psychology lol.
Long version:
Because the brain doesn't interpret it as it not being real. Most of the segments in the brain don't give a damn; the frontal lobe is ...
I honestly have to wonder if it did so poorly on the consoles due to the fact it came out pretty close to CoD and Assassin's Creed, which typically sell better on console than PC. Obviously PC being better with strategy games is a factor, too; I'm just thinking that the time of release may have hurt their chances on consoles.
