It may be possible that they lost all the files. Capcom went through that problem with the Silent Hill HD collection; they lost most of the files with exception of several assets and couldn't figure out how to redo it so they just left it. Hence why there were very obvious changes in script and, for example, how Silent Hill 2's fog was non-existent some times while being little more than a gray block other times. They could not remake it exactly due to Team Silent being long gone.
Of course it will, Oblivion released on the 360 and PS3 a couple years after launch and it did extremely well. Fallout 4 will do the same.
And to pay extra to play as the Imperials. Zenimax is about to destroy Bethesda's reputation, despite Bethesda not having anything to do with this game beyond having lore-masters on the dev team.
It'll be free-to-play in a matter of a few months, there is no doubt about it. Especially since the Imperials are unavailable to play as unless pay extra for them.
Too bad for Bethesda that most don't know Zenimax, Bethesda's owner, is developing this game and that Bethesda is only having lore masters keep the game in-lore.
Vallencer, they only changed their minds when they noticed the pre-order numbers weren't getting any better, let alone anywhere near as good as the numbers PS4 was getting.
They listened to MONEY, not customers. There is a big difference.
Probably from people saying those complaining about false advertising on ME3 didn't know how to read when it was quite clear their reading comprehension skills were spot on. IGN stated they didn't know how to read or were too stupid to comprehend the game A LOT following ME3's release. BioWare implied it a lot, too.
@CorndogBurglar
Just about every job in America only gives maybe a week of vacation and no sick time with no holidays on top of paying next to nothing (compared to basic living expenses). Very few jobs even offer half of what you get, even if you exclude holidays (considering most don't get holidays off anymore).
How much revenue vs how the public perceives you are not mutually exclusive.
That's not its only function, it is really good at annoying people trying to play those crappy Kinect games.
It's actually kind of a shame that the Kinect never got anywhere close to even a hint of its full potential.
What if the quality winds up being leagues above or akin to their 25-60 hour counterparts? I say the judge should be more quality rather than quantity. There are a lot of long games that aren't even worth $20, with some very short games having a quality deserving the $60 tag (though relatively rare).
What about Max Payne 3? That game can be beaten in a day and it was fairly good. Same with Asura's Wrath, but that one's more for people who liked DBZ and animes similar to that.
@Jack.
I doubt he is talking about 6-hour games, but more along 12. While there are a few really good 6-hour games, most are (as everyone knows) cash-in crap or just a bad game in general.
Funny how you accuse me of desiring conflict and then immediately try to talk down to me. Yes, it is you being vague. You merely stated the title of a game, you did not state an opinion of whether that title proves or disproves the author's point. Your statement could have been taken in any way due to the fact that you basically said nothing. I take back the word "misinterpret" due to the fact that there was literally nothing there to interpret.
Sorry, but this ...
"Desire for conflict"? Right. There is a difference between a conflict and debating. Your comment was very vague, and most who state an example in the way you did tend to mean their example in a negative fashion. That's also likely why you've only gotten disagrees. Maybe be less vague if you don't want misinterpretation.
He's saying to take game reviews with a grain of salt rather than just going "they say it is bad/good, so it is bad/good" like many do.
And how was Max Payne 3 bad? It was delayed and was still a good game, like many that wind up delayed. Note I'm saying "many", not "most" lol.
@Concertoine.
Wouldn't that also make BioShock 1 non-canon since every moment in life can have a parallel?
Sounds like it. My release XBox 360 has only one failure, and that was due to a power surge directly frying it.
It would be Zenimax, since they're the ones developing the game. Bethesda's only involvement with this game is the fact that Zenimax ownes Bethesda and that Bethesda only has their TES lore master(s) actively participating in the development.
But I doubt this one game flopping would outright bankrupt Bethesda, much less Zenimax.
Well, FFX was Square's last FF game; then they merged with Enix and released X-2 and the others. Square and SquareEnix are essentially two totally different companies now; FF seems to now be nothing more than a brand now after the merger.
