"This game that didn't have a physical release is nowhere to be seen on the physical game charts"
It might be too late to save at this point- the characters are ugly, the world isn't interesting, and there are a handful of far better, more populated options out there that I know will be populated for years to come. Why invest time an a game that's probably going to be dead in a year, if not sooner?
If it dies early (and it will) you'll be down forty bucks, if that counts as doomed.
You know what else is an 8/10? Most hero shooters you can play right now for FREE.
You know what else is an 8/10? Most of the hero shooters you could be playing instead- for FREE.
Good. Let the game tell the story it's trying to tell and don't demand politics in everything.
First flop of PS5? Try first flop in like a decade, we haven't had an outright bomb since like The Order.
"This means that more Xbox games, outside of flagship IP like Gears, Halo and Forza—will be on PS5 and other platforms eventually." They didn't even mention those, actually. Right now anything's on the table, they've been very reluctant to put any limits on this thing.
Funny how you have to add so many qualifiers when people don't agree with you. Tell me, are the nerds still sexless if they're happy with the state of star wars? Is it still a kid's game? Please tell us, oh enlightened one.
Not really. The opposite of free speech is telling people they can't speak- and that's exactly what anyone that isn't into modern thinking ends up dealing with.
I think people will probably be fine for a fourth borderlands as long as it's still fun to play- the movie will be forgotten in a few months, if not sooner.
@Inverno So you want it to be another fps, but you don't want it to being story centric or multiplayer centric... even though fps games tend to either focus on one or the other? What?
"Psychonauts 2"
Didn't do a lot of research for this one, did you?
You did an amazing job with this game! Are there plans to create further remakes now that System Shock is complete?
The level of spin in this article is so intense it should have a disclaimer warning it may cause dizziness.
I'd give it the great part, it's the RPG part I find dubious.
For me it depends on the price. Sixty bucks for 9 hours isn't a great value proposition for me.
Exactly- most indies don't have the luxury of deciding where they get this kind of money from, and realistically if any of the big three stepped forward with an offer they'd be foolish to turn it down, especially given most game pass deals don't prevent these games from going elsewhere later down the line.
Here's a better title
"Michael Pachter still has a job somehow"
Funny how people never make this claim if people like something, only when they dislike it. Does liking a game make my opinion still invalid? I've never made one.
