It isn't impossible at all, and gamer's tastes aren't changing, they just want good writing and characters, not embarrassing self insert nonsense the devs use to act out fantasies of arguing with their parents (and still somehow managing to come across as the less sympathetic party even in those scenes.)
You fixed his comment about as well as Bioware fixed Veilguard, so good job. :/
I couldn't stand it. Infantalized dialogue, lobotomized puzzles... it's a miracle the combat actually had any teeth at all on the higher difficulties, and that's about as nice a thing I can say about it.
Nintendo's lawyers hissing like vampires in sunlight reading this
I think it's coming, but I also think MS are well past caring what a handful of angry people on twitter have to say about games coming elsewhere at this point.
Japan carries this series so hard it can make them worthwhile to make by itself- here's hoping the Zenithia trilogy comes next.
He just saw they made a handful of changes and tried to squeeze engagement out of it- there's nothing nearly as bad as Veilguard's nonsense in there.
Are you sure? All the pieces fit
Dude, she freaking died. You don't have to feel sad about it but at the very least leave that stuff at the door for this one.
You think a game as big as Starfield can be ported overnight? These things take time. It's more than likely that they simply want to release it closer to it's announcement, to avoid getting more accusations that they announce things far too early only for them to take years to actually come out.
Difference is Hellblade 2 isn't on PS... yet
Funny how you didn't elaborate. It's almost as if you were hoping that pitiful attempt at a rebuttal would be enough all on it's own and that you wouldn't have to put any further thought into it.
"Everything is political" is one of the most emptyheaded statements I've seen in recent years. Not every story has a political message. Not everything needs one either. Let art be art and stop placing demands on creators to cater to your political needs.
Why can't we complain about it too?
The problem is that it's an action game where the action is janky and the things it's trying to succeed at are a mixed bag in their own right. But it's also the sort of game where you either appreciate what the Devs are trying to do or you don't, so reviews can only offer so much. It's at least trying to be something new.
Why should people embrace things they don't want?
Personally, I feel like there's been a degree of score inflation at work here. I've seen claims that it's the best thing Bioware has ever put out and no lol, it is most definitely not that.
Without getting into spoilers, be aware that the writers really don't seem to respect one of the endings of the first game at all. It's also antagonistic towards that choice and it's fans.
Right now it feels like most of them aren't even thinking once
SH2 would have been hard to pull off for any team, but for Bloober of all teams to pull it off as well as they did was miraculous.
The difference is that when PS lost it's footing in the PS3 era, they earned it back. When the Xbox One announcement basically derailed Xbox, it never really recovered from it in terms of console sales.
