Agreed. The difference between 1080p and 1440p is there, but between 1440p and 2160.... it's barely noticeable.

If the vive were 400, I'd have access to all the VR content available on PC and I could be looking forward to VR mods for existing games for example.
I can't do that with a 400 PSVR, unless it ends up working on pc at some point.
As for the hypothetical quality of a 400 vive, I don't think it would be significantly different from what sony has to offer, so yea...
Who says he doesn't have one already ? After all, people getting PSVR already have a PS4 (some even bought a PS4 pro just for that purpose)... See, I own a VR capable PC as well as a PS4, I got a PSVR headset instead of the others just cause it's cheaper. Not sure I'd done the same if the Vive was 400.
The quick decline thing can be said about almost every game on every platform.
Tons of games in genres that hardly ever appear on consoles (RTS, city builders, MOBAs, MMOs, action rpg, 4X...) and also tons of games in genres that are popular on consoles.
Does your choice really depend on the 5 mins download of a free client ?
