But aren't you the one who said , I quote "I'm trying to get comfortable with not owning Ubisoft games" , so I guess that means you agree with his out of context quote ? Maybe you should choose your words more carefully.

See ? That's how out of context work. That's just playing dumb for the sake of it, hoping others will catch the bait.

Was that worth an article ? I mean 88% got it on steam (Steam only counts people who actually launched the game). That's about as much as people getting the easiest achievement in BG3, or in CP2077, or God of war, or Ratchet and Clank or HALO MCC... and that's a lot more than people getting the easiest achievement in Skyrim, or fallout4, or fallout76, or witcher 3, or gears 5... As long as it requires any playtime, it won't be 100%

And imagine if just Sony took the time to make it easier to work on, instead of expecting the whole industry to learn to work on it the hard way, the ps3 would have had even more incredible games much earlier in its life cycle, and it likely would have sold a lot more (think Ps2 and ps4 numbers...)

It's also much older. The games are 5 and 6 years old. I mean horizon, god of war, days gone, or spiderman were 2 or 3 years old when they came out on steam.

Ratchet and clank probably would have been much more popular.

That's not really a problem. I got mine recently, and most of the games I played looked and played perfectly fine on it, it doesn't feel like I'm playing a PC desktop game on a handheld PC disguised as a console.

Plus Steam library is huge and features thousands of indie games that feel more at home on a handheld console then a desktop PC.

UE3 games were not just GOW and its lookalikes though (Dark Sector, Army of Two...) Mass Effect, Mirror's edge, Fat Princess, Borderlands, Arkham Asylum, UFO, Dishonored, Alice Madness Returns, or Lost Odyssey were also UE3 games. And even some with the distinctive UE3 look still looked great (Enslaved, Bulletstorm...)

I played HZD right after I played Far Cry primal, and the similarities were obvious. Saying this plays NOTHING like a ubi game is ridiculous. Doesn't change the fact that it's a fantastic game...

Because it came after Heavenly Sword which was exclusive, so as it happens sometimes when a studio stops making exclusive, people expect too much. Also maybe because it used UE3 and has this distinctive UE3 look (though way more colorful than the average UE game back then...) that was also popular to diss back then.

hmmm ? You just said "If we don't count Gta V, then Rdr2 is the best selling game of this generation" , not "If we don't count GTA V and games that include mobile sales and games that are not full priced and games that were first released last gen, then Rdr2 is the best selling game of this generation"

but yeah, according to these criteria, it's probably the best selling game of this generation.

Still, pubg is the exact sa...

It's one of the best selling games, and 32 million IS a huge number, but it's not the best selling game ifwe don't count GTAV. PubG sold 60 million copies between consoles and pc. There are probably others that come close (witcher 3 is close to 30 millions I think...Minecraft sold like 80 million copies in 3 years...).

I think he's talking about prince of persia 2008. Which I personally loved but well, to each his own... (It also had a 80 to 85% metacritic)

Every PC store has exclusives. Maybe except gog ? (Though it offers hundreds of old games you can't find anywhere else. ). Origin has exclusives, Battle.net has exclusives, Steam has thousands of exclusives... will you be boycotting them too ?

Well, they are.

Detroit had real consequences. But TWD ? In TWD season 1, you only decide if people die now or 5 minutes later. In the end, no matter what you do, it's still just Clem , Omid and Christa. At least in Lis 1, you can actually have characters that live or die in the end depending on your choices.

It's not out of place. It's been part of DOA for decades.

And actually, I'd be curious to know why people fear to be seen playing a game with girls in bikini yet they are ok to brag about their headshot streak , or their triple kill, or their victory in a battle royale....

It it controls like Andromeda (and it looks like it), you won't have to worry about fluid controls. Andromeda wasn't perfect but combat was awesome.

Did you read it ?

The article says
"That doesn’t mean you won’t find a compelling story with interesting characters in Anthem, though, as Warner is quick to add.

It’s very important to us that we create immersive worlds, where you can have companionship, and where you get to be the hero of your own story. I think those elements are very much intact with Anthem. We’re adding things to it, we’re adding these interesting social stor...
