Everyone else accepted though. And not all crossplay games are microsoft games.
Leaving room to failure is evolution though. I find it much more interesting when failing has consequences other than "game over, try again" Especially in a game with a branching story.
@stuna1 So what is stoping you from playing minecraft with friends who have a different system is the fact that MS controls the servers and gets to add another account to their totals if you do ? that's the issue ? ...
Why ? cross gaming with a steam account is ok but it's not with a xbox live account ?
So far, 1.
Things are not as bad as this article seems to imply. The guy on the verge saw an early version of the game, so it's not actually "day zero", Ancel was speaking figuratively . It's early in the development cycle, it's not like they haven't done anything yet. And Ancel hopes to show something close to the trailer next year.
A trailer this year, gameplay next year, maybe a release date in two years... That's pretty common at E3. Anthem was hinte...
@XtraTrstrL There was cross platform on xbox 360 early in its lifecycle. Games like Shadowrun or Universe at war allowed to play with PC gamers.
PS3 won against 360, but "easily" is not the word. "Barely" would be more accurate. It took like 8 years and the lifetime sales were really close, something like 86 vs 85 milion. Yeah I know, 1 year headstart etc, but still, 1 million difference. Compare that to 157 million PS2 vs 25 million Xbox.....
Luckily for sony they got their old dominance back with PS4 but really, saying PS3 won "easily" against the 360 is dumb, It was propbably the mos...
Unity wasn't "bad". It wasn't ready when it came out, and probably too ambitious graphically, but after a few patches, it was a pretty decent AC game. I'd say the assassinations in Unity had a classic AC vibe that was pretty enjoyable.
Like starcraft? or total war Warhammer ? or Dawn of War 3 ? civilization ? Heroes of the storm, Lol, dota 2 ? Wow, The Old Republic ? just cause you're not interested in PC AAA exclusives doesn't mean they don't exist.
Just cause the witcher is cheaper on steam doesn't mean origin sales can't rival steam sales. Cause it doesn't need to be the same games. Same goes with gog or uplay.
The thing is, the ending of flash was supposed to give us the best deals right away during sales. It sure doesn't look like it did.
Oh come on, those "epic" Steam sales are just a shadow of what they used to be. As soon as they got rid of flash sales, Steam sales were not any better than those on GOG or origin. Also I got a bunch of free games on GOG or Origin, while the only free Steam games (not f2p obviously) I have came from bundlestars and humblebundle.
I like steam, but its sales or really just not what they used to be....
Rigs was still great.
If the books weren't already "a thing", the games wouldn't exist.
The ratio might be different when you buy an RTS game that you also can get on the PC at the same time for the same price if you buy it digital instead of retail.
@bouzeball There's no way "play anywhere" could help with retail sales since it only works with digital versions. If anything, play anywhere hurt retail sales more than it did with any other game, cause if there's one genre of game that makes a lot more sense to play on pc than on xbox one, it's RTS games.
Why is that exactly ? Origin has been fine for years, this is not 2012 anymore.
Well he's the problem if he barely gets to kill anything.
If he doesn't know how to use combat, i'm not surprised he didn't enjoy it.
And finishing the game has nothing to do with it.
Really ? My squadmates killed about 700 out of 2000. Felt right. Maybe the problem is not the combat, but the combatant :-D
Well, you won't have to.
