Yet TWW1 is still more popular than Shogun 2, Attila, or even Rome 2, even though its sequel just came out. So it's still probably enjoyable to a fair share of TW players.
@denawayne it doesn't have to be a 500 difference, you pay 250 more compared to S, not 500
You compare them by watching the 1080p video on a 4k screen, and not the other way around.
I played HZD right after I played far cry primal and it did feel really similar on many points.
You're confusing humble bundle and humble store. You decide how much of what you give goes to charity when you buy bundles. You don't when you buy on the humble store, it's 10%.
I know that. That's precisely my point.
155 millions PS2 in 12 years. Incredible. Competition was crushed.
PS4 should be close to 70 millions in 4 years. It should top PS3 by the end of its 5th year. just as incredible. Competition is being crushed too.
And PS3 sold 85 millions in 11 years. Nice. Not incredible. And competition wasn't crushed. It doesn't take a Phd to see it wasn't as successful as PS2 and PS4.
Hmmm ? Huh ? what ? nooo.... ??
What I'm saying is that InTheLab, who said "No psn user should have to create a live account or have anything to do with MS while gaming on a PlayStation. It's stupid and MS wouldn't do last gen." could therefore enjoy cross platform gaming if it's not a MS game, since the only game that require a live account for cross play is minecraft.
Also, I don't hate microsoft or any other company for th...
Yeah, I'm sure it went exactly as they planned. They went from selling 155 out of 200 millions consoles sold during PS2 era to 85 out of 270 in PS3 era. Selling 70 million consoles less when the market is 70 millions bigger in a similar timeframe was exactly what they had in mind.
It's not "fuzzy math", it's reality.
It doesn't mean PS3 wasn't great, or that it didn't have great game, or that it's not (still) one of...
So what you're saying is that PS users could crossplay with xbox , switch, or pc users, as long as it's not minecraft ?
360 sold 3 times what xbox sold. PS3 sold two thirds of what PS2 sold. So yeah, PS3 was great and all, but things definitly didn't go the way Sony hoped they would, and out of 4 generations Sony was involved in, that's the only one they didn't dominate.
MS had cross platform with PC early last gen. They didn't allow it with PS3 for obvious reasons : PSN was free, XBL wasn't. (and yeah PC is free, but it's not a console) Now that they offer similar services, I don't think it would change anything for either MS or Sony and it would just increase the playerbase, which could be good for either extremely popular games that everyone has but not necessarily on the same gaming device, or games with a small playerbase .

How many hours did you play? Ark is like a 10000 pages book with a tedious 200 page beginning, it's not a game you get to enjoy in an hour. It's not even a game for everyone. But it can also be extremely addictive.
@Kabaneri don't be silly. France had about 900 homicides in 2015, and that includes the "destruction" caused by the "insurgency of religious fanatics", that's not even as much as Florida alone....
Out of curiosity, what's wrong exactly with windows store (other than the fact that it's not steam) ? Only got a chance to play Gears 4 and Forza Apex on there, but didn't have any problem.
Well, any "simulator" that let you hit a wall and drive like nothing happened is not a simulator.
And I'm tempted to say that people praising driving simulations that don't punish crashes are self indulgent. Games should AT LEAST give the option to have realistic damage.
Yeah, hitting a wall would end your race... but that's precisely what a simulator should be about....
The cell shading choice has nothing to do with xbox one or one X. It made sense cause Crackdown has always been a cell shaded game....simple as that.
@thunderbird86 works for all games that also exist on consoles.
I really like the whole "PC exclusives are not like the games I play on my consoles, therefore PCs have no interesting exclusives" . Well duh... if those genres are popular on consoles, the games are obviously going to come out on consoles too. That still doesn't change the fact that whole genres are almost exclusive to pc.
Every RTS except Halo wars ?
@2pacalypsenow Hmmm, yeah, when there's a shitty port, every once in a while, it's almost always the pc version , which usually needs a few weeks to be fixed. But there's also the fact that for the vast majority of games, PC almost always get the best version.
