7.5 is not a representative score of a game that sucks though.
Did you play it ?
Except it's not bad. Out of 36 PS4 critics on metacritic, the worst is 60, and the average is 75; with 23 positive and 13 mixed. 77 on Xone with 13 positives and 6 mixed, and 78 on Pc with 10 positive and 1 mixed.
Sure, it definitely could (should) have been better, and it's disappointing to see it in the 70s rang, but it's still not "bad"....
Was beyond two souls bad ? Killzone shadowfall ? Destiny ? Wolfenstein ? Far Cry primal ? Cause those...
Out of curiosity, is ignoring all qualities more balanced and professional ?
Well, if you decided to hate the game no matter what, that's fine with me. Personally, I tried early access yesterday, seemed really masseffecty to me and the 1st article seems much closer to the game I played that the 2nd one. Facial animations could be better indeed, but that didn't break immersion.
But anyway, that Guy said playing the witcher was like eating cardboard, So I'm not surprised to disagree with his opinion of andromeda too.
This is not how it works. No offense but it takes more than you feeling it's legit to "assure" anything.
Of course you haven't. None of these were popular on N4G.
look for the end of february previews. Those were positive. Including RPS.
Not gonna bother looking for it now, the early access is available, there's gonna be thousands of opinions pretty soon.
And that guy also said that playing the witcher 3 was like eating cardboard to him.
Well, a different journalist from RPS also gave positive impressions about the same first few hours just two weeks ago. You may want to wait a little before you take this particular opinion as the only worthy one, while most others are really positive.
It's even more amusing when people dismiss 30 positive articles because don't like what they hear.

Well two weeks ago they thought the first few hours were good. This one sounds like a cheap way to get clicks. It's even worse to see how some people want the game to fail and will just disagree with anyone pointing out that this particular article is the exception and almost every other preview is positive. I guess that's w...
annoyedgamer "it was written before the initial article was read"
you mean more like 1 than 2&3 ? Cause 1 and 2 are nothing alike, and 2 and 3 are really similar in many aspects.
Doom just last year too.
@UltraNova There's no such thing as a "too big of a franchise to get 7s".
Battlefield hardline, COD Infinite Warfare, FF13 : lightning returns, AC : unity, Street Fighter V, Killzone shadowfall all averaged in the 70s (or less) and all come from high profile franchises.
Also, rezzah, there probably won't be an all in one edition. There's unfortunately never been an all in one edition for any ME game.
They didn't kill everyone... I only lost Thane, Legion, and Mordin in the story. And EDI cause I picked destroy. Wrex survived, Ash survived, Tali survived, Liara, Garrus, Kasumi, Zaeed, Jacob, Jack, Grunt, Miranda, Samara... they all survived in my playthrough.
Maybe you'll like the new characters just as much. who knows...
You sound like you think Pc has no exclusive.
Well, it also looks like the map of the witcher or the map of Far Cry Primal, or the map of most Open world games.
It worked the exact same way 5 years ago in ME3. And it was entirely possible to play without ever using microtransactions. I prefer to get all my MP DLC maps , classes, and weapons for free and let those who want pay for it rather than having to pay for it just so that I have the satisfaction that noone can waste their money on microtransaction.
Really ? the average metascore on PS4 last year was 69.
Also, 65% PS4 games released in 2016 had less than 7.5.
A large number of games score between 5 and 7.5...but those around 5 are the bad ones. Those around 7.5 are... the disappointing ones.
