It's not like 7 is a bad score though...not everyone has to give it a 9 or 10.
@Moldiver, You're forgetting Ubi.
Prince of Persia 2008 original ending (before Epilogue DLC) was really unexpected and while some thought it was stupid, I found it to be both sad and beautiful.
Also the ending of Dragon Age inquisition caught me off guard (actually the whole final part of the game, starting at Mythal's ritual)
Afterfall Insanity also had a nice ending (kinda like spec ops), thought it required you to play through the entire game, which, in that case, was a bit of a hassl...
Revelations 2 is an exception though. In fact, LIS is actually faster than most other Episodic games (see Tales from the borderlands or Dreamfall chapters).
This is typically the kind of game that makes me want to try VR. I heard only good things about Elite Dangerous with Oculus.
Still, their website states
"Platforms:
To be announced"
http://no-mans-sky.com/pres...
And yet again, pc still has more good exclusives than all consoles combined. Still, great to see a game like wasteland 2 on consoles though.
About half the characters are males.
"Exclusive: Critics Admit to Lowering Scores for Attention"
As in the attention they get when they lower the score, or the attention they're getting now for saying that ?
True. I can understand if you want to call a rerelease of a 10yo game a remaster, but calling a game a "remaster" when the original has been out for a year feels artificial.
Which, following the previous sentence, obviously refers to the release date of the final patch, as opposed to the beginning of the beta on PC...
That's a terrible article...It's actually the beta patch that will be only on PC. The patch will obviously come to console later, after the closed beta.
You can read on Bioware blog:
"Please note that due to the nature of our patch infrastructure, the beta program is currently open to selected PC users only. "
Really ? A more likely reason is that people don't buy steam machines because they buy PCs that can also do a ton other stuffs, including playing games on Steam but also Battle.net, Origin, GOG...
As for games, you might want to check your facts, according to metacritic, in 2015, there's been, so far, 17 good(75 and above) games on PC (9 exclusives) , 10 on PS4 (3 exclusives), 9 on One (2 exclusive), 2 on Wii U (1 exclusive).
PC also had 45 "goo...
I'm not sure you read that correctly. There are not "more people" buying an xbox one for processing power. There's a sufficient proportion of people to quote that reason to make it number 3 on the list of reasons why you got an xbox one. That's different.
And just cause it came at number 4 on PS4 doesn't even mean the proportion of people who picked that answer is smaller on PS4.
eg, imagine 30% picked brand, 25% picked innovative f...
I admit I never played the game on PS3 and I know there were serious problems there at launch (and for quite a while actually, iirc), so yeah, if you played it back when it launched on PS3, I can see why you'd dislike the game. Still, I wouldn't call skyrim a proof of how fucked up the gaming media is, but well, that's just me...
Except Skyrim got 90+ on metacritic, has also high user reviews, is still popular nowadays, and sold on a MJ level, not a Bieber level.
As for Bieber, I think he gets a lot of unfair hate from people who haven't even heard his music once, and who dismiss his fans as irrelevant even though they are perfectly happy with what they got because it's what they want. I bet they're pissed when they see others telling them what they should like and that noone will even rem...
Really ? Skyrim is a fantastic game that sold 20 million copies and is still played by tens of thousands every day, 3 years after it came out.
It deserved those 9s and 10s...
True. That can happen with any engine though.
UE3 was not clunky...
So is the PS4. Emulators usually take an insane amount of resources...
