If this is how it`s going to be, please just get lost, and go back to focusing on Windows. You have no right to shaft your fans like that. I despise you right now MS, I really do. You`re right up there with Activision TAINTING my favorite hobby I`ve ever had, gaming.
Go for it, no one is forcing you to stop paying for Live. If you enjoy it, that`s all that matters. A lot of us are just feeling that Microsoft is losing sight of what made the 360 great.

I remember showing my little cousin (10) the Helios scene in God of War 3. I don`t think I`ve ever seen such shock and amazement on a child`s face before. I`ve scarred him for life lol.

Lack of exclusives has always been the downfall of Xbox Live in my opinion. I mean, how many 360 exclusives have come out recently that have an online component worth paying for? 4? Maybe 5? What is the point in paying for games you can play for free on multiple other platforms?
I broke the Xbox Live trend a long time ago. It`s not worth it. I can play the majority of the same games for free on PSN, AND the exclusives, which have fantastic online! Warhawk, Resistance, MAG, Modnation, ...
Don`t regret it. Just play through some of the great single player exclusives, like Gears, Fable, Alan Wake etc. You don`t need gold to enjoy your 360.
Not a big deal? Yeah, it`s not really. It is pretty disgraceful, distasteful, and unprofessional though.
Wouldn`t you think a price hike would have some sort of awesome new features that get people excited? Nope, instead the best they could come up with is "Not a big deal."

I thought it was boring. The best time I had with it was free roaming with a few pals. I found the PS2 iterations way more enjoyable.

I love people who don`t play their old games. No, seriously, they`re great because a lot of them will sell them for dirt cheap, and I can reap the benefits. I can go to the flea market on ant given Sunday, and walk out of there with a fat stack of games, and even consoles for next to nothing. Just as an example, last week I nabbed 6 games (PS1, PS2, Genesis and SNES), 2 genesis 6-button controllers, and 2 PS1 consoles for $24. In other words, yes, I will play these old games.
Of course the PS3 won. "Jeff and Scott" need to get their eyes checked though if they think it`s a tie with graphics. Good thing the other guy was so blunt, and said it like it was. Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 are definitely unmatched on the 360.
Also, the PS3 can play any PS1 game, they need to get their facts straight.

Physical copies are not going anywhere. I know there are quite a few people who really push for a full DD takeover, but you`re going to have to wait quite a while longer before that.

There is a couple things wrong with this theory.
It implies that if anybody wants Halo, they don`t have a PS3. False.
It implies the demand for 360s are much greater than PS3s because of Halo. False.
It implies that Halo is the only good 360 game. False.

How is it better in software exactly? PS3 won the best software lineup on GT the past 2 years, and possibly even a 3rd coming up.
