Multi-platform games are great, and a lot of them are exceptional too, but when you compare a console`s lineup, you look at the exclusives, common sense.
Yeah, there are quite a few PS3 fanboys here, I prefer the PS3 myself as well. But have you even stopped to ask yourself why you think that is? Maybe it`s because the PS3 simply owns, and for a lot of people, has the BEST games. Food for thought there pal. Also, if you want to complain about the disagrees, then why don`t you...
Agreed. There is much more lag on Live, at least in my experience. I mean, I bought Uncharted 2 on day one, and I have not had even a single lag hiccup going on a year now, I`m not even joking. On the other hand, I couldn`t play Gears 2 for weeks when it first came out, it was completely broken. When it comes to in-game online play, PSN is smoother for me, hands down.
As someone who had had plenty of time on both services, and probably 2x more time on LIVE, I can say without a doubt that PSN is every bit as good as LIVE. The only advantage I give to LIVE is that it is more streamlined, and communication options are slightly better. Still, you have to pay a fee, and that makes it plummet in value. I`m not sure why people continuously say PSN "is not up to par." It`s an incredible value for a free service.
Wow. Infamous was a lot of fun, a solid game. But it didn`t quite blow me away. Well, I`m happy to say that Infamous 2 will blow me away, this game looks incredible.
Yeah, I`m just joking. It`s actually taught me advanced skills for surviving the apocalypse.
Fallout 3 has already trained me for basic survival skills needed to survive the apocalypse.
Hmmm, I didn`t even know there was a demo. I`m going to download that right now.
"This isn't a game that you're likely to play solo for any serious amount of time"
You see, this is irks me a bit. What about Wii sports? Wii Sports Resort? Mario Kart Wii? New Super Mario Bros? Super Smash Brothers Brawl? Wario Ware? I`m not hating on these games at all, in fact, I love most of them, but I feel that statement relates to a lot of modern Nintendo games. Every game I have just listed is not very easy for me to dive into and play for hours on e...
You can tell yourself whatever you want...but everybody knows how it really is.
Nope.
Edit: Well, I agree with your *edited* statement.
I don`t see how Kinect wouldn`t give somebody a headache. I mean, I wouldn`t want to sit *ahem*...stand while holding my arms up in front of me the entire time I play. I tend to have less frequent, but long, and drawn-out gaming sessions as opposed to playing frequently in small increments, and I don`t see how Kinect would be relaxing, entertaining, or even fun for somebody like me.
Don`t be upset that the 360 doesn`t get involved with the big-boy comparisons. Lol.
They both look incredible graphically, but in my opinion, Killzone has much better animations with a much better sense of brutality, the graphics are better too :)
This is catastrophic on a scale of epic proportions. I can already see the PS3 crumbling and crashing to the ground because of this disaster. /s
For the love of God, please show us more of the masterpiece known as The Last Guardian. I can`t wait any longer.
Stunning.
I don`t think there would even be Xbox if it were not for Halo. I remember that CE was the game that made everybody, including myself, go and purchase in Xbox back in the day.
Very true. The more hype, weight, and emphasis you put on a product means there is more riding on it to succeed, and if it fails, or doesn`t live up to expectations, the result will be a lot worse.
We shouldn`t, period. We purchased the console, we purchased the games, and with those two things we should be able to get the most out of our games without paying a fee.
Am I wrong? Please, I`d like to hear why.
Like I`ve said before, if you`re fine with paying, and you enjoy the service, that`s great, you should continue subscribing. But I personally think the price raise is BS. No, it`s not that I can`t afford it, don`t even come at me like that, it`s about being treated with respect. It`s about having a good relationship with your customers. When I support a company like Sony, MS, or Ninty, I`m more than happy to give them my hard-earned money as long as they`re trying to improve my gaming experie...
