I thought 3 was decent until I got to what happened with Maya, and then seeing those two obnoxious twerp villains repeatedly play a taunting video of that debacle... Didn't feel connected with it much after that.

Too much freedom to make your own choices? That is going too far?

I think the specs are very good. The resolution is not "dated." The PS5 has to actually be able to run this, and genuine 8.3 million pixel 4K at 120 Hz isn't terribly realistic for graphically intensive VR games. You need to maintain a consistent and high frame rate for VR unless you want to lose your lunch. The resolution being offered plus foveated rendering should give a good balance of visuals and performance that the PS5 is able to manage. HDR is also a very welcome feature...

Is anyone except the author eagerly awaiting Hipster's Row? What a clownshow. I don't see those soy-infused characters winning a fight with a kid from a 7th grade wrestling team much less battling gangsters.

Lady Dimitrescu is pretty much it for 2021. It was an ugly year in many ways.

Same for me. Played it non-stop until I had the platinum trophy and kept playing it a decent amount of time messing around with weapon perks and testing various things against bosses. I think I was pretty much hooked the first time I was able to behold the spectacle of the Ixion battle, my favorite boss.

I hadn't realized just how detailed the graphics were in RE Village until I picked it up for $21 a few days ago. Very impressive and has been reminding me of RE4 in some ways.

Having a PS5 and PC seems to be a considerably less stressful situation. I enjoy every trailer for exciting new games. Many here seem to get the pitchforks and torches and go to fanboy war. Just enjoy whatever you like.

Wouldn't it be typical for a second year to be better than the first year for new consoles?

That's a pretty good 2020 list.

Enthusiasts of those games do. Casual players are more likely to either avoid it because they heard it was too hard or start playing it and get crushed and not pick it up again. The players who complete FROM games over and over are enthusiasts, a small percentage of people playing video games. It may seem like it's more the norm in a place like N4G or gaming forums, but it isn't.

The Shadow of the Beast games on Amiga and many games ported from arcades (intentionally very difficult to keep you inserting quarters) were pretty brutal. Almost no single player games are that difficult now, although high level players do create their own challenges such as a Soul Level 1/ SL1 run through one of the Souls games. My typical pattern is start on "Hard" and play through a second time on "Very Hard" if there are difficulty settings. I might go further to do a...

Or one can comment if he or she feels like it, and you can't do anything about it.

I spent months following supply drops with trackers and was up in the middle of the night for hours before I actually got a PS5, and that was in an expensive bundle. I started trying to grab one essentially the second the supply became available. Often websites just locked up and continuously loaded in the checkout/ shopping cart for 15 minutes, which is long after they were gone. I have a 1 Gbps connection. It wasn't something I was doing wrong. You were just very lucky if you got one wi...

I'd probably stick with Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic. PC38x has been treating me pretty well on both PS5 and PC.

You technical wizards can tell me which one looks amazing and which one looks terrible given one uses the amazing ultra fantastic "magic" technique and one uses the mediocre, marginal technique. Should be easy for you pros given there is such a massive disparity between FSR and DLSS according to you (the ones claiming this):

1498d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I have an RTX 2080 Super and have used both FSR and DLSS in multiple games. FSR at Ultra Quality looks very good and pretty close to DLSS. At lower resolutions DLSS looks better.

The update also added FSR. I'm not convinced it's THAT big of a deal to add DLSS support specifically when anyone with a modern GPU could use FSR and look almost as good. Hopefully the technology Intel has developed is also good. Having the option of multiple choices is great, but I'd mainly just like to have at least one of those upscaling technologies available for every game to keep the game running smoothly. I hoped NIS would be that solution I could just use for any game that...
