I've had a PS5 for around a couple of weeks, and the most impressive experiences with haptic feedback that I've had so far are with Astro Bot and WRC9 (on a killer sale for $17.50 at the moment). I actually have COD: Cold War that came with the bundle I bought to finally get a PS5, but it is still wrapped in plastic unopened. I'll give it a try eventually. I don't play much COD outside of Warzone on PC.
I don't like IGN or most of organizations of its ilk, but regardless Alanah has a degree in journalism and was hired at IGN as a writer. It's not difficult to figure out why they eventually pushed her to appear in front of the camera instead of behind it where she intended to work.
As for Jade Raymond, she has a degree in computer science from McGill and started as a programmer at Sony. Taking a look at the franchises she has been involved with as producer or direct...
I wish they would add another Survival expansion; that was my favorite mode in Division 1. They don't seem to be interested in doing it, though.
The bitrate tends to be much higher on 4K Blu-rays than other media.
This doesn't seem to be particularly significant.
The door frames in my place are 80 inches/ 6'8", and she's ducking way down to enter rooms. I'm sure the doorways in a castle would be substantially larger. I knew she had to be at least 8 feet tall minimum assuming everyone else and the doorways she had to duck under are normal sized. That is a massive vampire.
@SullysCigar The thread is about original IPs and you list two sequels.
I haven't managed to land a PS5 yet (like most people who want one), but I watched the demo at 4K/ HDR on an OLED earlier today. Looks very detailed.
Best storytelling?! LOL.
Demon's Souls.
The disagreers aren't worried about huge file sizes because they will just download extra RAM to manage it as needed.
I agree to some degree, but not all upgrades are equal. If it's just specs and resolution tweaks as seen in early Pro games, that is absurd to expect you to buy the game again a second time. On the other extreme, it would be absurd for me to expect Bluepoint to provide me with a free copy of Demon's Souls because I bought it on PS3; they weren't even involved in that version of the game and certainly did an extraordinary amount of work on the remake. The difficult, murky area is w...
I'd be surprised if it isn't using temporal injection considering Bluepoint has already copied Insomniac's technique for the 1440p mode of Shadow of the Colossus. Temporal injection almost always looks better than 1440p games on the same hardware and would explain why it was easily mistaken for native 4K.
That is "confusing?" Install, boot up the game, and upgrade. Oh, my brain aches from the complexity!!!
I guess perspectives vary. I bought Control on PC and have received significant updates like DLSS 2.0 support for free while I see people who bought the console version being asked to buy the game a second time if they want any upgrades despite a high spec PC version already existing. No question Bluepoint remakes deserve full price. I'm not so sure about spec tweaks updates. Some "PS5 versions" of older games have a lot more work put into them than others.
Demon's Souls is currently the big draw for me. I also have a lot of PS4 games that would benefit from the extra power, particularly VR games.
PC/ PS5 is going to cover most of what I'd want to play.
I have an LG OLED and a 1440p 144Hz Gsync monitor upstairs. I'd prefer to watch movies and play graphically intensive and cinematic games with HDR on the OLED. I've only played PvP games on my monitor for years, and this is unlikely to change.
As far as 120 fps goes, it mostly FEELS more responsive. If you're expecting it to be a massive change in the way it LOOKS, you'll probably be very disappointed. Very high frame rate and low latency are what I want for...
"I’m not sure why some PC heads are so dense to understand that simple economical concept?"
And I often wonder why so many try to pretend like every time you upgrade a PC it costs $2000 as though anyone would just throw all their old PC components in the garbage to upgrade a graphics card. I still have my Cooler Master case, Corsair PSU, and some other bits from 2011 from several builds ago. That was back when Intel's Sandy Bridge was new and two years before ...
"Am i the only one thinking that native 4K is a little waste of resource?" No, I've thought so for the past 4 years. I have a Pro and an RTX 2080 Super and have used all sorts of "fake 4K." It's ridiculous to waste so much of your rendering budget when there are techniques that look similar that run better with more effects and detail.
I got my first taste of VR with a discounted PSVR bundle along with a bunch of games on incredible PSN Store sales. I have a PC and PS5; I'm putting off upgrading to a better headset until I know more about PSVR2. I'm expecting the PSVR2 to be a pretty good value, but I need to see the details. The controllers look very nice. I'm hoping for HL: Alyx, Astro Bot: RM 2, and maybe a VR Horizon game.
