Look back at the history for Atari, most of their game were a mess. It's no wonder Nintendo looked at Atari and knew they could do better, out pops the NES. Although, Paperboy and Gauntlet were top games.

Look at teardown vids on YouTube, Asus are not the best for quality. The Xbox brand is now messy, Microsoft should've waited until this gen was over and start again. Sony approached SEGA and the Mega CD was born. After the Mega CD, SEGA declined a deal with Sony for a 32bit CD console, the Mega Drive 32X was born. Sony went along with the PlayStation or the Nintendo PlayStation.
Microsoft have completely lost the plot. Pay your money for a Series X, hardly any games. This is released, then talk of the next Xbox. Just put games on PC, PS and Switch. I'm all for these hybrid consoles now, although I don't play games in handheld mode. A single format will never come though. Nintendo games on PC, Mac, PS and Xbox, how many games would they sell?

Have been watching vids of the game and my wife who doesn't play games, asked me why the baddies as she called them, don't seem to be fighting back much, like they're stood still. The AI is dire and this is yet another showcase game from Sony. Run about and explore with flash graphics. There's just no variety with Sony's games.
Was it worth a launch day purchase? Not a chance. Wait until it's been out a while and pick it up cheap used.

Console pricing is heading towards the £1000+ mark anyway. I'm not sure if Sony and Microsoft will follow Nintendo with a hybrid console, but people who only play on a big screen, it ends up being overpriced tech. My Switch and Switch 2 stay docked. Scalping should be banned under UK consumer law and in other countries. Looking into the future, PS6 or PS7 at £999+, download only games £99+. Gaming started to become a luxury years ago.
Scalpers paradise. Like the Astro Bot controller, retails for around £75, but sells for over £100 used? The gold Ghost of Yotei controller retails for £75 also, but the black version is only available from Sony for the same price.
This gen has been the worse gen ever. PS4 still going, said years ago it was too early for PS5, the same for Xbox One to Xbox Series X. Technology for gaming is moving too fast, PS5 and Series X still have years in them when you look at what the Switch 2 can do. I like hybrid consoles like the Switch, although the SEGA Nomad and PSP could be played connected to a TV. As I've mentioned many times before, gaming is now a luxury and I can't see the masses being able to keep up.
Sony has most definitely laughed all the way to the bank with pricing in the US and Europe. $350 works out at around £265. The PS5 in the UK sells for around double that. Fony.
