They should've knocked out on big complete collection game. Every fighter from the series. Hammered it with paid DLC, so the full game would've cost £200. Also knock out a limited edition controller for £100. That's what most gamers love these days.

It doesn't look too good to be honest with dated gameplay.

A remaster of 2 games on one cartridge/disc will sell for what? Crash Bandicoot Trilogy was under £20. Some collections have far more games. Turtles collection (not a remaster) was £15 for 13 games. These games are worth a few quid, but if you don't mind paying silly money for each game, then fair enough. Best to wait until the dogs are barking and pick them up in the sale.

What, release the same sort of games every year? Mario to the rescue. When did Nintendo last release an innovative games?

Does Nintendo spend hundreds on millions on game development? You can't compare the Switch game library with the likes of the PC and PS5. Maybe it'll be Nintendo's turn with layoffs when you consider the Switch 2 will introduce £60+ games and it'll be more of the same, especially from Nintendo. We all know the Switch 2 will simply be a Switch upgraded. The big question, will Switch to Switch 2 be a re-run of Wii to Wii U? Lastly, the Switch 2 will be swamped with PS4...

£70+ for games this gen, Switch and PS4 games rising by £10, was part of the problem. Sony raised the price of PS4 games from £50 to £60, so the price gap was £10 between PS4 and PS5 games rather than it be £20. I see online retailers selling games for £30, rising to £35, then going in the sale for £31, yet are £16 elsewhere as an example. Used games can sell for more than new games. Game pricing has been a big mess for years.

Next gen, Xbox will be off the radar for me. The Series X has been a disaster for game releases. Microsoft can stuff it.

Look at thr range of games. Don't waste your money, unless you want a console to dust down.

Never understood anything limited edition. More you sell, more money you make. Amiibo, there was limited stock which ended up in the hands of scalpers. Nintendo should've released a card version. Raising the price of Switch games is another. The Switch docking station hiding the screen. Releasing the same old every year, no 1080 Snowboarding, Pilotwings, F-Zero, Stunt Race and Wave Race etc. A new Wario World? Paper Mario on the Wii U hasn't been ported to the Switch. It'...

God, they talk some wallop do Microsoft. Xbox was never the same after the Xbox 360 and even that had its problems. The Series X died before launch. The cost of consoles soaring, why would anyone want to buy Microsoft's next console?

A new Wario World game. Forget about Mario.

An amazing game on the PS2, but was milked on other formats. Should've been a sequel years ago, but CAPCOM are clinically obsessed with Resident Evil and Monster Hunter.

What did you expect, a 2D platformer? Or a kart racing game?

DIdn't think much of the first game on N64. Was an average series of games. Would've preferred a new Shadowman.

I remember Onimusha being shown on the PlayStation and it was canned, CAPCOM moved it over to the PlayStation 2. But Onimusha 2 was the best in the series. There's been that many of these games, it's more of the same, which is fair enough. A 2026 release is far off, but won't be a day one purchase.

Pay stupid money for games this gen and there's still updates?

In a nutshell, this gen has been poor. Last gen was better and the current consoles released too early. I've said it before, but next gen will be exactly the same with £700+ consoles and £200+ controllers. £70+ games this gen, the bubble is about to burst.

Take away the graphics, the gameplay just didn't do it for me. Just another roaming about game. Ghost of Yotei is there to fill a gap before a proper sequel.

Luigi's Mansion was a legendary launch game.

Cell (or cell like) shaded games like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, never really age. F-Zero GX, it also includes the AX tracks, but they’re locked. Surprised it wasn’t ported to Switch with access to the AX tracks.
