Lol
Looks good for a PC exclusive
The cost of gaming is going down especially if say game developer/publisher make their game sold only through digital distribution. Blu-ray manufacturing costs have gone down as well; unless, a new physical format is introduced. ......
Hopefully the government puts an end to loot boxes and microtransanctions
Maybe EA went too far with their loot boxes.
How is it bad, it was obvious game developers were not going to police themselves. They saw millions of dollars made out of DLC, microtransanctions, and loot boxes. Of course game developers were not going to stop. Gamers did not do shit other than complain and threw tantrums. They still bought the game that came with microtransanctions, loot boxes, and DLC. So when the game creators and publishers fail to police themselves, the gamers failed to do anything about it. The last resort of actio...
Finally a US state that actually does something about this heinous loot box gambling crap.
To buy a loot box the gamer spends in jewels, coins, points, etc. not actual dollars. This could cost gamers 25 cents to $5.00 per point, jewel, coin, etc. Then gamble on getting victory poses or trinkets by the time they get that cool gadget, the gamer has already spent $100.00 US dollars or more. Now that is gambling folks.
What do you mean?
That is exactly right.
Still in early access, is like rewarding The Forest for best survival horror
That right there is the problem with videogame awards is based on game popularity not based on providing innovation, the best visuals, the best gameplay or innovative gameplay mechanics, the best story and sound. ..
The game needs to be finished. The problem with early access is the game is still in development and can change a lot. The game journalists should not encourage game developers by giving awards to games still in development which will lead to many more games in development limbo
No, the game is not finished
The problem is that how it starts with cosmetics and victory posses if it succeeds then comes the lootboxes like StWS Battlefront 2. If Star Wars Battlefront 2 fails financially, it would become the greatest victory for gamers. For it will let EA and the entire gaming industry that loot boxes/microtransanctions are not welcome in $60.00 games. 👍
The problem with loot boxes is the lack of real prices. Loot boxes are sold in gems, crystals, coins, etc. not actual dollars. One crystal could be $0.50 or $5.00. The reward is completely random most likely getting victory posses; as opposed, to kickass weapons. The lack of giving gamers the options of free unlockables and map editors is something to be discussed
I thought that you were going to say because multiplats AAA games have microtransanctions and loot boxes lol
If any of the console manufacturers ditch consoles in favor of a digital gaming service. Then it wouldn't matter if people played on PC, tablet, or smart tv; they would all.be playing on their favorite gaming digital service (PSN, Xbox Live, Nintendo Live). Paying $15 or $10.00 dollars a month for the service and rent games.digitally like Netflix 😜 and if someone wants to own the game the gamer can buy it through psn store, xbox live marketplace, nintendo eshop download onto usb s...
The only way is going to happen is if the console manufacturers ditch the console in favor of a digital gaming service 😊
More reason not to buy any $60.00 games with microtransanctions and loot boxes. Let's fight back and not buy those games
Agreed
