Seriously, this article is completely out of touch. PC gaming hardware proved this generation that it was 5 years ahead of consoles. Games like Rust and The Forest will show everyone the real next-gen gaming. PC gaming is pretty much plug and play especially if people use Windows 10 (does everything automatically) or Mac ( holds your hand). Can play PC gaming on couch in front of tv using gamepad. Is just smoke and mirrors don't fall for the hype. Look at what Microsoft execs said in the past but never became a game changer. During Xbox One launch it was all about the power of the cloud and DirectX 12. Did it made Xbox One games superior to its competition, the answer is no. Same thing here with Freesync.

Cave Story the free version that was downloaded from the creators website had no kb and m support. The Steam version of Cave Story does have kb and m but it costs $10.00. There are also some PC ports that say the game is best played with gamepad. For example, Hand of Fate on PC before the main menu a message appears that states: this game is best played with a gamepad. PC is getting more mainstream than ever.
Glad to know I am not the only PC gamer that uses gamepad as oppose to keyboard and mouse. When I play multiplatform games like Batman Arkham Asylum, Tomb Raider, etc. I just use the gamepad. Crash Bandicoot is best played with the gamepad for is a platformer.
