I see it as too bloody expensive. Sony/Microsoft should just ditch console hardware altogether in favor of a gaming service like Netflix. Lower costs, better profits, and triple or quadruple the audience. I still firmly believe that console hardware is done and buried. PSN/Xbox live tv app is the way to go. A fusion of digital distribution combined with the power of the ☁
Potential for loot boxes and microtransanctions.
Ultra realistic
This sounds like a good mmorpg.
You are getting disagrees due to gamers believing that console hardware will always exist. The reality is digital services taking over our entertainment, for today's tv's have built-in processors, usb ports, Wi-Fi connection, broadband connection, etc. plus all the multimedia apps that people crave like Netflix. I would not be surprised if Microsoft releases a Xbox Live tv app over console hardware 😃. Console hardware is done and buries
I love this article and I love the author's enthusiasm. Besides games, what will really shock and awe gamers is the announcement of Xbox Live TV app 😃. An app that allows gamers to play xbox games without the need of console hardware, just hook usb xbox gamepad to tv and external hard drive to tv usb port 😃. In laymans terms turn tv on log in to xbox live and play xbox games. It goes with Microsoft feature Xbox Anywhere. Mic drops. Another Mic drop would be a sequel to Cri...
Is not so much the issue with consoles is the fact that game developers are trying too hard to simplify any videogame genre from complex systems to pick up and play. Unfortunately, mmos like rts is a genre that cannot be simplified to pick up and play, is a genre best enjoyed when the gamer doesn't know what is going to happen
Yes I saw that. I also saw a trailer for Black Desert for Xbox One X. Black Desert was schedule to release for Xbox One X during launch, it did not happen. Then it was revealed to be released early this year, it never came. My point is that sometimes even if the game is anounced for consoles it doesn't come to consoles.
I was surprised Sea of Thieves was not released as a game preview (Xbox early access program).
Phil Spencer started good by improving the features of xbox and improving xbox marketing team.Besides that, he fell off the cliff.
Agree with the author of this article.
Hell yeah, looks good for a game created by one person
Coming to PS4 very unlikely this is mostly due to budget constraints, team size (4-10 people), and is just too big for current consoles ability to handle such a game. This is one of those games to show off the power of PC and what a real open world game looks like.
Agreed with the author. Not every game needs to be political or over realistic but if the game that is made is touching controversial material then let the game.creators use it not forbid them.
Battletech is coming out this April. That is good news. The Forest is out of Early Access this month 😝
The biggest issue with open world games is the lack of mini games; npcs offering interesting side quests that alternate the game world and give us more of the lore behind the game world. I agree with these 10 annoyances of open world games. Open world games feel empty and devoid of organic progress. The Forest will change all of this and succeed were others have failed. Expand on what The witcher 3 started.
What a weak article. No facts just an opinion in a rambling matter. All Sony needs is improve PlayStation Plus combine it with PSN Network and release a PSN tv app 😎. As far as gaming laptops go, just look for the thunderbolt port which allows an NVIDIA GPU to be hooked on
Do I need to play the Ultima series to get a grip of this game ?
Curses
Agreed
