The only way right now to make games is through a PC. Until smartphones and laptops are capable of making games then and only then will PC die. The other reason why PC gaming is not gone yet is due to it does not have a specific audience; thus, you will find console games, mobile games, and rts games on PC. What is hilarious now is that platformers appear first on PC then get ported over to consoles like shovel night.

That is the issue, consoles do not utilize the latest hardware tech but the older tech. Look at PS4 and Xbox One with the fact that PS3 did not sold well at $600.00 plus tax, it prevented console manufacturers from investing in new technology. Both PS4/Xbox one were using souped up mobile technology.
Personally, in my humble opinion console hardware is done. Is time for Sony/Microsoft to unleash the PSN/Xbox Live tv apps. Sony does not need a PS5, it only needs to improve PS Now make it affordable and bring forth PSN as a tv app service 😛

I fell for another clickbait article. PC VR has more games, better technology, and the ability to improve/evolve at a faster rate than PlayStation VR (Yes, once PS5 releases, PSVR will improve but then it will remain stagnant; in contrast, PC VR will always be evolving)
Outside the US we are behind in upload/download plus speed compared to:
European Union
Japan
South Korea
China 😨

Ok, the way is going, there really is no need for console hardware anymore. TV apps for today's console manufacturers. Crossplay between console networks is the future; Sony needs to offer crossplay.
