Instead of crying about politics in games and gaming media, let the "free market" decide. Wolfenstein is not your IP. Go make an apolitical shooter in which nobody gets their bootlicker feelings hurt, surely it will sell millions of copies.
"I received a mild case of diarrhea from my lunch at Taco Palace, but I'm still going back for dinner."
Maybe when she's old enough she'll inherit his collection of magical henleys. Only the wearer who knows the ancient art of the half-tuck may gain their mystical protection.
Wait... In a game where both male and female characters leap and fall inhuman distances to grab onto tiny ledges hundreds of times over without so much as breaking a fingernail, fight fictional monsters in fictional lost cities (none of which have any basis in scientific or biological fact) and survive hundreds of bullet wounds in the span of hours, you're trying to say that the badass leader of a merc army kicking the crap out of Drake is unrealistic? Get real dude.
boing1, even the very first NFS released in 1994 had a cockpit view. Not all of them have it, though. Definitely not a deal breaker for me.
that's good to know!
I'm not a big Star Wars or Battlefront fan, but I've been playing FPS since Wolfenstein 3D, I grew up with multiplayer games like Quake and Unreal, and to me this game is a fun blend of modern and old school multiplayer, my roommate and I have had a ton of fun with it already. Balance issues and inevitable micro-transactions aside, I'm sold on the final product.
Haha I was gonna say the same thing. Destiny got much better reviews while standing on much less gameplay and story content. At least in Mad Max each "redundant" objective occupies a different part of the game world.
Agreed. I've been having a blast with this game, and Mad Max has been one of my favorite stories since I was young.
For anyone on the fence:
It's not a "movie game," but it takes place in the same universe as the films and contains some locations and references that will be familiar to fans. For my experience, the mission structure and side quests are not any more repetitive than, say, Far Cry 4. Combat is simple but not easily mastered. Car...
I felt ripped off enough to give up before the dark below hit. Once I realized I'd have to pay hundreds of dollars before the game was anything more than a carrot-on-a-stick grindfest, I hawked it for a copy of Wolfenstein. Beats me what they sunk so much money into for Destiny - Peter Dinklage's contract maybe? What a waste of a good game engine.
Especially if you never had a PS3, but got a PS4. Definitely an easier (not to mention enhanced) alternative to buying/borrowing a ps3 and all 3 uncharted games.
No. BOS armor is reclaimed US Military armor, that's why there are soldiers in power armor in the flashback scenes.
But let's hope it's not that drastic, right?
Bloodborne: Cooperative and competitive online play in a narrative-based game experience
NFS: Cooperative and competitive online play in a narrative-based game experience
Bloodborne: "Would you like to play through the game online or offline today?"
NFS: "Cannot connect to EA servers."
I never really liked the cheesy "fast n furious" style of the Underground series, but if they can successfully combine that with classic NFS stuff like cop chases and exotic cars, then I'm all for it... as long as I can still get some enjoyment out of the game when I "cannot connect to EA servers."
Lately, "cannot connect to EA servers" means it's time to put a different disc in, I hope that doesn't end up being the case with this game. Barring Motorstorm, this is my favorite racing franchise.
The first choice you make when booting up Bloodborne is whether to play on or offline. There are many advantages to playing online, but none of the game is withheld if you choose not to. This should be the universal model, in my opinion.
I left about 2 months ago when I realized that Activision is balls deep in this thing and I'd have to pay for the other 50% of the prototype that they decided to axe and sell later at a premium. If the game was anything other than constant grinding over and over in the same environments while getting whacked by poor exotic weapons balancing in MP I might even be OK with that. And I never even ran into any of the glitches.
I just walked into a wal-mart a few weeks ago wondering if they had one... and they did have just one so I bought it. Now I have a PS4 but I have to live with the terrible memories of spending about 15 mins in a wal-mart
The Last Of Us is 4v4 and it's one of the most intense multiplayer games I've played, and one of the only games I play online besides Battlefield and Counter Strike. I'm sure this game can still be fun with good balance.

Just a reminder that sometimes people lie about who they are and what they stand for in order to gain power. Just because "socialist" is in the party name doesn't mean that's really what they stand for.
