"I think a 6 or 7 would be a fair score"
Even if we assume seven is average, this game is still below average. How below is up to the person, especially since there is a certain point where people think a game is outright broken or unplayable because of the score, but it makes no sense to list it as average.
Furthermore, one of the biggest problems is story. You can skip a number of cutscenes and as long as you catch all the ones where you kill...
The real issue is how quickly certain authors/journalists jump to anger without doing any level of research.
"but goes on to praise Japan's line up of Killzone, "Gravity Fall" and Child of Light. "
Like this point is especially bad. On Dec. 3, 2014 Japanese players got Killzone via Plus, with Jan. 7, 2015, giving Child of Light via plus and Sept. 14, 2016, having "Gravity Fall," so all these games are duplicates.

For what it's worth, if you know when/how to use a gun, they can actually be overpowered. I only use mine to shoot the pilot of mechs and it tears through them like butter. The same goes for shielded enemies and certain situations. Sure, blade combat is typically better, but everything has a specific use, which adds some kind of balance.
Honestly, you can tell this is not true by simply looking at the roster of Marvel vs Capcom games.
The first game had standard and somewhat popular characters, with the second game having tons of off the wall characters. By the time the third game came out, Disney only had some control over Marvel (hard to say because of development times, taking over the company and so forth), but there was only a slight lean towards upcoming movies. We still had weird characters like Shu...
Well, from what I played of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, it might not be their best outing, but it doesn't look to be terribly bad, in terms of gameplay, either. The real issue here is, crossovers, much like anime games, are about wish fulfillment and removing X-Men or to be precise, Wolverine, from the mix doesn't sit right. I doubt think you'll find a single person who knows anything about Marvel that would say they didn't know Wolverine or that he isn't notable. It's...
The sad/funny thing is this whole franchise pretty much came into existence because of the X-Men. The first crossover fighter between Marvel characters and Capcom was X-Men vs. Street Fighter, which then became Marvel vs. SF and then finally Marvel vs. Capcom. Not to mention, before they did a Marvel series fighter, they did X-Men Children of the Atom.
For a series with such close ties to the X-Men, it's sad to see it go away, regardless of the reason. Especially when ...
@ The 10th Rider
Could you do a better job proving my point?
@ OoglyBoogly and The 10th Rider
I don't see why you automatically assume agrees/disagrees are an indication of fans.
Speaking for myself, I generally don't think of PC in general. When I read New Monday's comment, I read it in terms of Xbox, Switch, Wii U, Vita and 3DS. To take it a step further, if you want to argue something like that, you're really no better by ignoring things like iOS/Android. I have no issue believing there are more...
It's really an interesting title. I got to play through two levels and a boss fight and while the controls took some getting use to, there is a decent learning curve. It never felt easy, nor did it feel too hard. I was quite impressed.
Make sure Bandai knows you want it. They've already said they would consider it if there is enough demand.
Maybe, but there also aren't a lot of traditional fighting games like FighterZ. Outside of the 3DS one two years ago and crossover titles, the next one would be Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection from 2012. So, being one of three in a six or so year period says very little.
It would probably be better to say the best Dragon Ball fighting game, but that is an extreme reaction for a six character demo and there are different ways to define best. It will probably be the...
"Dlc is a cancer, I want to have the full experience when I buy a game. "
How exactly do you argue a remake/remaster/whatever you want to call it of an old game is somehow not the "full experience," just because they decided to potentially add additional content? I'm not saying I agree with it, just that I don't see how DLC somehow makes a game over a decade an incomplete experience.
I agree.
"Too many people claim dominance from one platform yet have very little experience with what the others have to offer."
However, I would settle for people just stepping outside of their comfort zone. Like a while back I participated in a weekly podcast, mostly as the straight man, where practically every topic/detail was AAA this or AAA that. I get that a lot of people love Uncharted, Call of Duty, Tomb Raider, Pokemon and so forth, but...
"Remake, Remaster, Reboot, Reproduction... it's all the same in that those are not the original. "
While that is true on the basic level, just like you could add sequel to the mix, but the words mean very different things. A remake is something like the new Shadow of the Colossus. It's the same game on a basic level, but it features new models, elements and so forth, where as a Remaster is just enhancing existing content. Now a reboot is completely differe...
I might be in the minority, but after playing with a PlayStation VR at E3, I was underwhelmed. Admittedly, the only game I played was Moss, but it left a distinct impression on me.
While I thought Moss was a fantastic game and would LOVE to support it, the way I've been explaining it to people is Tearaway with VR. You have this deeper connection because you're able to look around and view this world from every angle, but I would be hard pressed to say that connect...
Some people give into peer pressure, OCD and things of the like. Sometimes the idea of having something incomplete bugs them or makes them feel insecure. Even if you, me or someone else doesn't feel it, I understand why it happens.
I obviously feel more compelled to do things, like Flawless Raider in Destiny, because there is a trophy/achievement, over personal desire. That one also decreased my enjoyment, since it made my groups more stressful, generally had negative ...
I'll make this simple to save everyone time.
N4G considers any editorial and reviews of older games opinion pieces. They can be more objective, like why the patch it later approach needs to end, but I would prefer if someone is doing something more subjective, they make that clear. For instance, the current title is a statement, when it's really why they ruined it for them. If it had been named "Why Trophies and Achievements Have Ruined Games for Me," I si...
I have to disagree.
Like a lot of, I don't want to say bad editorials but it summarizes my feelings, articles, it takes a narrow view and looks at a very specific subset. For instance, there are people who won't play games with certain graphics, pixelated indie games have it especially rough, others are performance snobs and some will even avoid titles over trivial things like a lack of online or couch co-op.
In this case, I think there are some...
It's good for anyone hoping to see the KF2 community come back, but I'll be a little sad if it is true. Then again, I haven't played a Plus game in a while, so it's sort of a wash either or.
If you want my honest opinion, this is one of the problems with society today and why, just because someone is expressing something, doesn't mean it needs to be a talking point.
While I don't want to make a blanket statement that these things are never malicious or that special interest groups are always wrong, because sometimes they're right, a lot of things, this included, feels like these people WANT to be angry and manipulate things to be awful. I really don...
