I love LawBreakers, but I really don't see how framerate did not get mentioned in the good and bad section.

Flawless raider really wasn't that bad and an example of a good and bad trophy. As much as I liked it because it was an actual achievement, one most people could only get via Crota's End, it brought a lot of negativity to the game. I can't tell you how many games I played trying to get it in Vault of Glass and how many people would rage quit or get mad at people for failing.

In either case, I'm sad to see they basically went with making the trophies as easy...

"Who designs a trophy/cheevo for a RNG drop that literally may never happen?"

To be fair, most of the most annoying/worst trophy/achievements have high amounts of RNG involved. But, that still doesn't sound as bad as the Bo' Rai Cho MKX task. There you had to win a ranked match without doing more than a four hit combo with Bo' Rai Cho. So, unless you are so good you can out play most opponents, you're basically going fishing until you find the righ...

The problem with this is that it's hard to describe something and be objective. No matter how you do it, there is probably going to be some subjective elements built in. I like to use Demon's Souls as an example of this.

People can say the gameplay is thrilling, challenging, engaging and a number of things, but if I were to say tedious or cheap, would you disagree? Obviously most would probably explain how it can't be those things and it's the former, but th...

Standards are great and they work well on a very basic level, like not allowing games that can damage your image, but standards like you're talking about is bad.

Unless there are very specific things that can get something banned, it's bad to have someone just decide this is okay and that isn't. Like if they said no sex and The Witcher 3 was too sexy, XYZ platform would miss out on that game. Likewise, if you say no low quality graphics, there are people who th...

While I could understand liking last months, even if everything good was repeats, this isn't anywhere near what I would call epic. We got two of the six titles, with Child of Light being a repeat and who cares about Hustle Kings. This leaves Amnesia: Collection, which I can understand some people wanting, but it isn't a title that would make me really excited or sad we didn't get.

While I can't comment on every occurrence, since it's possible what Emad-E-three replied to you saying might be true, I can say that this is an issue people often had with Destiny. After it says preparing to download, it would display the full amount, let's say 10 gb, you have compared to the total out there, so like 11 gb, and after preparing you'd start at 10 and need to go to 11. Even when it displays like this you're only downloading 1 gb, but people would constantly s...

It isn't, but a lot of people don't use N4G or things like the up/down vote (not that it matters, but I am not the one down vote. I agree with your overall message and gave you an up vote) things correctly. If you want to be really technical, this article should've failed because someone already put this news on N4G ( http://n4g.com/news/2082038... ) and the original really should've don...

"I rather have Discord up on my phone or computer."

Isn't this basically the issue. Nintendo offers a service, one they plan on paying for and when push comes to shove, but for the same amount of effort I might as well use another service. Even if it isn't a problem for you, you should be able to relate to people not wanting to use a convoluted system of devices and wires, when other services have done better for years. Even the Vita has a better voice cha...

Let's be really honest here, just because one solution has a problem, doesn't mean they shouldn't try. So many people seem to say "Nintendo won't like the response" or "I don't want to mute every foul mouth person, so it should remain the same," but why can't we get it, but you have two options. Friends enabled and public enabled, with both off by default. With this, guess what, now it's YOUR fault if you want to listen to other people and amazi...

"Anyone who disagrees hasn't done their research or easily forgets... I still believe they wouldn't have released a 2nd destiny"

How can you say this when the contract ( http://documents.latimes.co... ), released in 2012, shows they intended to make Destiny a four game series. Even if the first one had issues and they decided it was too late to fix at that point, it wou...

@ Arkard

I was going off the posts, which indicate people were charged $20 for the beta.

3258d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

They would. It's essentially being viewed as a bundle, with Best Buy fulfilling part of the order, but not the other part of the order. The website views the code as $20 and the game as $40, so canceling the order after getting the code means you can only return $40 cash, as the code is non-returnable.

Naturally this is a glitch and not intended. You can tell this, since it would logically also appear if people returned a completed preorder. So if you went to get Desti...

I get their point and agree with it on some level, but I also think a lot of conclusions are jumped and there is never really a "right" time to write a review.

One article I keep saying I want to write is about asking the question of when should you review a game.

Sometimes it's pretty easy, like Destiny should be reviewed following completion of the raid, but most other games are a lot harder. For instance, Cladun Returns: This Is Sengoku!...

"but this review is so poorly done."

I agree, but some people enjoy reviews written from exaggerated perspectives or read more like a consumer review. That being said, you can read this and come away understanding very little about the game.

"I also don't know how you can condemn the story so much if you're skipping major parts."

It undercuts their creditability, but it also says a lot about how bad the stor...

You do realize that, ironically, your post is part of the problem, right?

Any idiot can figure out the woman was used as a thumbnail, since it will get clicks/people will notice it. Now, regardless of why people click, this opinion piece is higher on N4G, which means it is more visible, likely resulting in more views. Since you commented, that increases the heat and my reply and possibly other replies, will further increase the heat, making it more likely people clicked/gav...

Ignoring obvious errors, such as saying the game released 30 years ago, I think the author put it best here.

"It’s a game that was flawed when it came out in 1996, let alone after three decades when the scene has moved on exponentially in terms of craft and ambition."

This isn't an issue with remasters/remakes/whatever, but really Crash in general. No offense to people who love the game, I do too, but Crash was not a game designed in a "...

While I don't disagree with Bomberman, though it is cheaper here, and know nothing about Voez, I would say Puyo Puyo Tetris and The Binding of Issac are a little different.

In Puyo Puyo Tetris' case, I would say it actually has a good amount of content and justifies the price. Not only do you get a Puyo Puyo and Tetris game, it also has a 100 stage story mode, online and offline multiplayer, six different multiplayer modes and more. That isn't a bad deal and som...

I would actually say that isn't true. A good example of this is Destiny.

While I don't think certain characters are popular, or in some cases unpopular, because they have XYZ actor, there is no denying that their voice adds a lot to the character. This can be best seen with Lord Shaxx, who is basically just the Crucible announcer, as his lines aren't particularly well written or memorable (two for one, triple down, I can't believe what I'm seeing, this ...
