I didn't forget, I just choose not to over complicate my point on times. Especially since there are a lot of people that do one and then focus on the next one.

"Sounds like leveling isn't as cumbersome as it was at launch."

It's practically the same with some things getting easier and other things getting harder, but overall it's relatively the same.

In the past you could go from one to 20 in six - 10 hours depending on what you did and how many days we're talking (because of bounties). From there you just need armor, which largely depends on RNG, but you could get to level 24~ without gett...

I always thought a big part of it was how many people simply didn't care for the game or ever worked towards that goal. Like I am into trophies and I've ran into a lot of people boasting about how they platinumed Destiny and how they feel like they've done an impressive feat because the platinum is at .1%, which is the lowest possible percent on the PSN. However, when you consider something like 12 million people have played the game and lets say 6 million are on the PSN, then it ...

The worst is when a less popular game has multiple online trophies. No joke! I played Bodycount ON RELEASE and the hardest part of getting that platinum was literally finding people to fight. Not playing the game, not doing something, finding people on release.

I can certainly understand the logic behind having the reward match the task, I don't like the idea of them all being of relatively the same difficulty. It prevents creativity and I am okay if game A wants to have bronze trophies harder than the platinum of game B.

@ the article

I can't say I would be interested in the metrics behind certain things beyond the percent, which I wish Sony went beyond 0.1% or gave the exact figures like "1/12,000,00...

While I am sure some people do that because of their relationships, I wouldn't be surprised if some people are simply less critical than others. Like my one friend will overlook problems, focus on the positive and generally doesn't have a problem with anything. I wouldn't be too surprised if the same is true for a lot of "journalists," especially since the only real requirements are to have a domain and hosting.

I also wouldn't say that holds true fo...

I can't imagine anyone is surprised by this. Special edition systems tend to be pretty popular, so naturally anyone getting offered a unique one is probably going to consider it even if it is just for resale. I think the real shame isn't that people are doing this, but the design Nintendo choose for the limited edition console.

Perhaps it's just me, but using the company logo (well the past one anyway) as a special edition is unappealing and the logo itself proba...

I really don't understand why so many people love Velocity / Velocity 2X.

Such a short article for such a complex issue.

In my eyes I think price should be a factor, since it's one of the most logical ways to figure out value. For instance lets look at The Dark Below DLC pack from Destiny.

This pack costs $20 and I am pretty sure the first question someone has isn't whether or not it's good, but whether or not it's worth the money. At its core you get a couple of exotics, a new raid (with additional loot), a few sto...

"I wonder why no one is approving it?"

I imagine it's because this it's too easy to bother seeing the appeal. Like solar weapons are generally considered the most powerful weapons in PVE. You got the Vex, VoC, Ice Breaker, Hunger of Crota, Black Hammer, Gjallarhorn, with three of these guns being considered the "best" weapon in the game. Combine this with the fact that this strike doesn't really NEED a strategy (most just stay in the starting r...

A lot of it has to do with demographics.

Destiny is a loot game that is basically anti-hardcore, which appeals to many people. Sure the hardcore people can get ahead faster, will have better guns and so forth, but there are a lot of "great equalizers" that prevent people from getting too far too fast without serious time commitments.

A lot of these people don't have experience with the genre, hence why so many people complain about how the DLC...

"That being said, I'm surprised that the Samus figure could get discontinued in even just one retailer, it's supposed to be one of the most popular."

Out of curiosity, have you seen the Target amiibo display/area? If not, this is about how it looks at every Target I've been to and seen people display pictures of ( http://i.imgur.com/juFNa7x.... ).

Now, if you can't alread...

"but I read a rumor that they might stop making the statues and instead making character cards? Is that true? "

I've heard people remark that they're also making cards or something like that in addition to the figures. I can't say I am really following it, since I don't get a lot of the amiibo hype. As of now the figures don't do much, so I don't really have any reason to track them down.

"I also keep reading about thes...

"they play for the group content and community.

Destiny has that."

A lot of people play MMOs for the "post game" experience, which is arguably* Destiny's most lacking aspect. The first problem is that the "story" or should I say campaign (?), shows you literally everything Destiny has to offer besides the raid. Once you complete everything, you just need to level up to 28 or less if you get a good team / someone carries you ...

"Well that's only for the new Strike that came out this week"

Well yes and no. According to the source article we will periodically see DLC levels appear for strikes and daily story missions. However, this means we could see DLC weapons appear in Xur's pool and other things in the future.

"But come on, It really doesn't take that long to level-up gear... Id rather have fun leveling up my fav guns again, than just paying for an instant max upgrade. "

Originally people thought the exotic blank shards were going to just add more bubbles to existing guns. So if you had a 300/300 gun, you use the shard and you gain like 3 bubbles that let you hit 333 and I believe many suspected it would just upgrade the gun or require max level to do so. By giving pe...

"Budgie have lost so much respect. Destiny is so much MEH"

I personally find this stuff interesting, since I am usually surprised by how many people will be angry about something, complain about it, the company fixes it and somehow the company is a hero again. Why can't people remain angry or at least skeptical like they do with Capcom or EA?

Like so many of the things they fixed I wonder if they included just to fix later. Remember that it is ...

"Sucks for those who got PVZ"

Yup. I am so bored that I sort of want to see what the statical odds of the two PS4 retail games I've bought digitally (Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and Injustice) going free are. But anyway, nice deal for those who don't have the games.

"My guess is Nintendo is inflating these numbers. "

I don't see why people automatically jump to the "company is evil BWA HA HA HA" reason. It's far more likely that Nintendo simply underestimated demand and didn't make enough supply to satisfy it (considering it seems like AMZ, Walmart and Target are out), especially since this article is based off an observation and nothing more.

Would it really kill writers to indicate which region this stuff is for? Maybe it's me, but it's REALLY deceptive and annoying that the author not only felt the need to indicate the US name (this has nothing to do with NA, so who cares what we call it when you're talking about the EU version), but also used the NA box art (same with the N4G poster).
