Gotta love it:
"Even before pricing reached this level, HD DVD represented more than 60% of the overall standalone high definition market."
Clearly not counting PS3.
"Just as importantly for movie retailers, HD DVD has always enjoyed greater software sales per player than any other HD format. In fact, HD DVD owners have already bought around 3.5 movies each, compared to less than one movie sold per Blu-ray device."

HTML 5 and XHTML 2 are competing to be the new markup language for the web. Check the link I posted below for more details.
I don't know if I agree that it has too many features or is too complicated, but it is certainly outmoded.
Alternative: XHTML 2.
As a professional Web Designer I have this to say: HTML 5 FTL!! XHTML 2 FTW!!!! XHTML 2 is going more in the right direction - there are a few cool ideas in the HTML 5 draft, but they could easily be incorporated into XHTML 2 where the inverse isn't really true.

She could have saved herself a lot of grief by spending 90 seconds on YouTube before the segment instead of after.
Looks a lot better than that previous trailer with them making bad jokes.
I thought it was funny that he criticized Fox News for trying to make hay while obviously doing the same himself. I think he pandered a little too much in going after Cooper Lawrence the in exactly the same way as hundreds have already done via Amazon. I don't disagree with him, but I do think he's trying to have it both ways.
Why would they want to hire that guy? Isn't he largely responsible for EA Chicago getting shut down? Haven't they ever seen him given an interview (he comes off as a total moron)?
Microsoft can't just go around buying companies that aren't for sale. It would be absolutely idiotic from a business standpoint for EA to sell out to Microsoft.
I gotta go with PS2.
Word. I'd rather have all my devices use bluetooth than IR anyway. Why shouldn't PS3 lead the charge. BTW - I love the PS3 remote, I use it for everything but games.
Regardless of whatever math they are using to show a profit in that division it's still in the red to the tune of billions of dollars (like 6 or 7). I don't think they should pat themselves on the back too much.
The ones on the right certainly look better than the left, but the ones on the left look blurred in a way that makes me suspicious. So I'm not buying in - I'll judge for myself when it's done downloading.
I'm guessing it takes awhile to make enough of them to get them on every store shelf in the US (let alone NA) all at once. Pair that with that they might come out with a PS3 SKU with it packed in and they've got to make an awful lot of the.
You should find a copy of Ico to play through sometime - it won't take you too long. It's not as action packed as SoTC, but it's a unique experience that no PS2 owner should miss - especially one who liked Shadow. They are related - don't you want to know how?
It may not have been a graphical powerhouse, but it was certainly a visually stunning game - great art direction and great cameras.
AAPL is around $135 a share. They are down because their 4th quarter earnings, despite being the highest in the companies history, were lower than what Wall Street had predicted. Over the last several quarters Apple had actually beaten their estimates which kept driving their stock price up. Less than a month ago they hit their all time high around $202 and it's been pretty much down ever since. You've got to understand though that this is just a normal market correction, and in line with the...
Did you actual read that somewhere? It seems unlikely given the sandbox nature of the game. Cross a bridge - "Please insert Disc 2" - that's not gonna fly.
