After Fable he said he'd shut his mouth in the future. He just can't help himself :)
For someone who was just giving someone else, who was clearly joking, crap about Spanish grammar: you just spelled "announce" "enounce".
Oh snap! I flamed you! :)
I think the exclusivity has been in doubt ever since EA bought Bioware. How many console exclusives does EA publish? Not many. Certainly not big titles like Mass Effect.
If it's true then let's see if they can beat iPhone and iTouch to it.
I think maybe he's referring to UGC in the form of Little Big Planet and Echochrome. Social Networking = Playstation Home. Of course none of these are out yet, but are all due out this year - Echochrome next month in, at least, Japan.
I haven't been able to play those games or use Home, but I'm looking forward to all of them. I think if Home is well executed and particularly if the accompanying social networking site, which we haven't seen much of, is well executed then they will...
I don't know how great of a Blu Ray player that model is, but I can tell you from personal experience that the PS3 is a great one - and, you know, it does other stuff. If you've got $200 to drop I would honestly suggest waiting until you can afford a PS3. Unless you hate them or whatever. But seriously, it's a great player - discs load quickly and it has all the necessary hardware to run the most advanced Blu-Ray spec, and get updates over the internet. Oh, and it has some pretty sweet games ...
I support any retailers right to sell or not sell whatever they want to whomever they want. Just as much as I support my right to buy what I want wherever I want. Target, like any company, is free to be as dumb as they want to be.
Great! Another one in my list of most idiotic quotations!!
"When I took the initiative in creating the internet..."
"Every one hundred years, media changes."
"We will see more change in the next ten years than in the last ten centuries."
"Single games platform is a historical inevitability."
I hope they release it at the same time for North America - I wants it!
I'm getting it for PS3 as well. There's usually so much to do in GTA that I don't finish every single thing so the promise of additional content, that I'd have to pay for, isn't enticement for me to switch from playing GTA on Playstation.
Why would he say something like that about the lifespan? I know when I invest in a console I want to be able to play new games on it for a good number of years before it's replaced. The original Xbox already had a rather short lifespan, and when it was over it was OVER. They just pulled the plug on it after what, a little more than four years? If the lifespan of the 360 is even shorter I think a lot of gamers will be ticked off about it.
The 360 was lucky in that it released in a...
This story has been fascinating to follow. What the hell is going on over there?
This link, posted in the comments on Daily Tech is also really interesting - it claims that Iran currently has NO internet as a result.

This could be really cool. I saw an HDTV that had similar functionality with different widgets, but it AppleTV can do video chat on your HDTV - that will be awesome.
It's nice to hear someone in the industry talking sense once in a while.
At the very least I think Ron Paul is succeeding in changing a lot of minds about a lot of things, good things. He has said himself that he has thought it would take longer for the "freedom" message to take hold and I don't think he's wrong. What we really need is more people like him in all forms of government who are for less regulation, lower taxes, lower spending etc. and I think his rise to prominence will go a long way to ensure that we will have them. I hope.
An...
Just by way of clarification - I'm not saying that we aren't headed into a recession - I'm just taking issue with the terminology. I think the out of control spending and unsound monetary policy are going to work their stuff one way or another, but that people ought to know what they are talking about when they use the term "recession".
Also before you put too much stock in employment reports or the unemployment rate you should try talking to your local federally funded...
I suppose I'm possibly responding more to the fact that more than a few politicians and talking heads in the media have been saying we ARE in a recession - which is perhaps arguable if you define it only as an economic contraction, but they should know better than that. Some of them probably do. They certainly both have vested interests in what they claim whether to get people to watch their show or vote for them this year so they can "fix things"
In regards to the &quo...
The official definition of recession is when GDP growth is negative for consecutive two quarters or more. Therefore "We’re now on the verge of a recession," is false.
N4G is what you make it. If you want it be be awesome, make it awesome - contribute quality news, engage in intelligent debate etc. If you insist on being as churlish as the average fanboy then you are part of the problem, and you have no right to complain.
I'm psyched. Format wars suck!
