This is a really interesting issue. If Flash, or something like it, did run on the iPhone it could open a lot of doors for gaming on the iPhone, but Apple doesn't have much incentive to actually see that happens.

You are confusing Bioshock with Mass Effect. Bioshock was made by 2K Boston (Irrational) and 2K New Zealand. Mass Effect was made by Bioware and is the first of a trilogy of games. Mass Effect is no longer exclusive to the 360 (unless you just mean console exclusivity) as it comes out for PC this month. Additionally its console exclusivity has been called in to question owing to the fact that Bioware is now owned by EA who is not known to publish exclusive games.

Yeah - there are really great methods of getting music via DD now, but more music is still distributed by CD. Mainstream DD for HD video is easily still a few years off. Blu-Ray will stand in the gap.
