Look it up. Study it. Try again.
HD DVD is the definition of FAIL.
Yet they extended their warranty 3 yrs. Makes total sense. There isn't a widespread problem, let's just throw over 1 billion dollars away. Keep living in your dream world. I guess Vista and the Zune are great too.
I love how they don't show a picture of the add-on, just the 360.
I see, my bad. It's a damn shame people rebuy it. After my 5th died (all replaced by MS), I bought a PS3 and never looked back.
mean the the game isn't looking fantastic? Has Naughty Dog not made some awesome games?
...they'd sell more.
Looks the same as a launch 360 game. Great.
It will sell very, very well. That's all that matters.
You're lying to yourself if you think the 360 isn't a POS. I have mine on the bottom rack of my AV stand. Haven't turned it on in a while. Don't assume because I speak negative of the 360, I don't own. After all, through owning an unreliable, rushed to market, loud 360, I have formed such opinion. You good sir, are a douche.
It's $349. Microsoft has segmented its hardware into 2 groups. With HDD and without HDD. Now, if you want to play COD4 or Halo 3 or GTAIV or Mass Effect or the 3 other titles 360 has in 08, the Xbox Arcade won't cut it. I think many people will find the $399 price very nice. BD playback included? Sold. In the grand scheme of anything HD, $50 difference isn't that much.
I bought a 360 to play 360 games. I bought a PS3 to play PS3 games. It's rather simple really.
It really is sad that you have to be concerned with the size of chips in your 360. I don't recall ever giving a damn about the guts of my console, just the games. It really must be a POS to have consumers wondering if it will RROD or not. Guess what? It will still RROD.
I'd rather play BK or Toyota Yaris games. But that advertising is ok, right?
$60 bucks a year down the drain
You need to spend another $100 on a 20GB HDD for BC, and at that you are only going to play 27% of the top 300 Xbox 1 games. So for $380 I can get that deal? For $20 more, I get BD playback and a PS3. Ok. Ok. So I could just get a Pro 360 for $350, plus 2 mediocre games. I'd still pay the extra $50 for BD playback.
I love how they list price as a negative. Especially when the 360 has a $349 and $449 SKU. Of course I could buy a Xbox Arcade and never be able to play COD4 unless I pony up for a HDD (never mind the fact that I need an HDD for gimped BC, but the 40GB PS3 eliminating it altogether is worse b/c it's Sony) I'll take BD movie playback over Forza 2 and Marvel Ult. Alliance ANY DAY!
Each division of SCE works independent of the other. While this may be what is available in Australia and Europe, it doesn't mean this is what Japan or the US will get. I think here in the States, we'll see the same model. Sure, it's convenient to play PS2 games on my PS3, but I play more PS3 games on it than my PS2 games. That's not saying I don't enjoy having the ability to play SOTC or Okami or MGS3, but I still have my PS2. I can if I want to. This is just spin b/c it's Sony and they &quo...
Many, myself included, are still going to buy it. It doesn't matter who gets it first. 360 owners will be happy. PS3 owners will be happy. If it wasn't coming out at all, then I'd be upset.
Just opinion. Should I just blindly agree so you feel special? High brow like BBC comedy? Get real man. But seriously, look it up and study. Then try again.
