Compare box office draws. Transformers will sell well, but Spiderman 3 (for the sole reason its Spiderman) will sell more. We can also agree Transformers was an outright disgrace to the animated series AND 1986 movie.

BD has lead with PS3 owners NOT buying BD movies. With PS3 support growing, more and more BD movies will sell. It is more likely a PS3 owner will buy a BD movie, than purchase an HD DVD player. Of course Transformers will sell well. But Spiderman 3 will sell more. Throw in a PS3 bundle with Spidey 3 and it's game over. BD is far from shambles. Can't forget the Japanese and European markets...

HD DVD has no answer for a $399 PS3. Selling 5 million HD DVD players won't match the amount of PS3's that will sell fiscal '08. Period.

I would recommend if it is a big deal, get 20GB online (Gamestop still has some), get a 60 or 80GB or just STFU.

I have yet to play a single track in PGR4 that was night. Weather (rain, primarily), yes. Night, nope. Do you even have a 360 or play the games you praise? Nice response to the 7 DVD argument, back pedal FTW! Nothing to say about Shadowrun? When did level of difficulty need to be a requirement? You brought game length into the fold, had a valid comparison thrown back at you and had to run to level of difficulty...LOL. You know, your logic applies to Heavenly Sword too. I mean we all see the same games, but hear the same thing. No games. We see HAZE, UT3, Assassins Creed, MGS4, LBP, DMC4, Echochrome, RE5, Uncharted, R&C, SingStar, Orange Box, HS, Tiger 08, Warhawk, and on and on. How are there no games?

What dvd player outsold the PS2? I don't think an HD DVD player will ever outsell the PS3. There are currently million of potential BD movie owners. People who have a PS3, but aren't watchin movies on it...yet. No family that currently has a PS3 is going to buy an HD DVD player. They already have BD. PS3 numbers are a significant part of BD's success. But its versatility is also being spotlighted. Camcorders, PC storage, higher capacities...what else does HD DVD offer? Nothing. Movie playback...
