The same was said about the Wii U. I think it was ShopTo who claimed that the pre-order numbers were the best they ever had for a system. And look at the Wii U... it's floundering to say the least.

I still prefer playing as Dante though. For obvious reasons, he has a far more vast range of moves, letting you mix it up much more than Vergil's moveset permits.
But then they had to go and spoil it all by adding in two characters that no one wanted.
this game wouldn't even be coming out in the first place. Sony was the publisher back when it was called Adrift, but for some unknown reason dropped it during development. I'm really excited for it too, and I'm glad it was given a second chance because of Capcom.

First I heard about it. Geez, does it even need multiplayer? Strikes me as the kind of game that would be fine without it.
As wildly succuessful as the console ended up being, it took a while to get going. If I recall correctly, its big launch titles were The Bouncer and Tekken Tag Tournament, and they were perceived as disappointments after all the hype.
Really, this writer is just jumping the gun. We've already got Killzone: SF, Watch Dogs and inFamous: SS to look forward to, and we're not even past E3.
