There are countless examples of sequels out there that are set in a different location with a new protagonist. Final Fantasy, GTA, Silent Hill, etc. Should've just called it inFamous 3, it'd have been more epic.
Same with Second Son. It's annoying when these games come across as being mainline titles in every way apart from their title.
but I wanna know where my homeboy Cole is at.
if the price is right. I'm not getting gyped no matter how psyched I am for what Sony has in store.
I was too engrossed to notice it. If I get a PS4, it's for this classic-in-the-making and inFamous: Second Son.
Usually you can depend on them to win over a crowd at an event like this (they won GamesCom last year in my eyes), but this Move-compatible dirge they demonstrated... I don't even know what it is. It was confusing, it wasn't compelling, and the video shown where those two dudes were swaying around made me feel uncomfortable.
Still, there's always Tearaway.
officially starts here baby.
Pure magic contained in a plastic disc.
After playing the demo, I could tell the game was a rotten mess. Oh well, at least DmC delivered, and there's free Bloody Palace/Vergil's Downfall DLC to look forward to in the near future.

I wonder how much of that time was spent listening to codex messages/conversations lol.
I think Toro's had just about enough of being dropkicked in the back by Kuro for his level 1 super. It's time his best buddy cheered him on the sidelines too.
Come May, when everyone will be playing The Last of Us, I'll be playing... both!
Is that actually happening?
You know what, I'm not gonna lie - I'd prefer a Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 2. That would be colossal.
Oh man, that's hella buff. I'm actually in the UK where it doesn't come out until the end of March, so I ended up importing it from the U.S. Can't wait!
so highly in demand again. A masterpiece of a JRPG at that.
Different protagonist, different timeline and setting - still a numbered sequel. Silent Hill 2 didn't continue the story of Harry Mason, while the town itself represented something entirely removed from the first game - still a direct sequel. There's no set rule here that if a game changes the formula too much, it is obligated to become a spin-off instead of a fully-fledged sequel. Shadow Fall didn't even look radically different from previous installments and from what I can te...
