@deadfrag: Read my post again. It's not so much me being greedy and wanting more than what is already a pretty good deal, it's me questioning why Sony benefits financially by forcing owners to keep the PS3 discs to play the PS4 versions.

Man pays £40 towards Sony/Publishers/etc. Man pays £10 towards Sony/Publishers/etc. Man sells disc for £35, Sony loses nothing. Man keeps disc, Sony gains nothing.
If the upgrade code can only be used once then how would they be able to do that?
Probably missing something here but if you've already paid the money for the PS3 version + PS4 upgrade to Sony/the Publishers, why would they particularly care if you go on to sell/trade-in the disc? Surely that would benefit them if it means more money for the individual to spend on games.

Paying the correct tax doesn't mean that you have to sell something above RRP, how does that make sense? How many times have you seen something being sold above RRP? Unless if the RRP is £449.99 rather than £429.99, it just looks as though Game/Shopto are trying to cash-in on the ridiculous levels of demand.
