Vita's first shooter to not disappoint.
Translation: The Indie Developer Program has received a few applications. They're all flocking to Sony.
Vita:
- Infamous
- Gravity Rush 2
- Anything by ND
- Persona 5
One guy being a developer who has presumably spent a lot of time with the controller and who feels as though the controller can lessen the gaming experience.
These kickstarter campaigns signal a welcome change in the games industry where developers can make the games that they have always wanted with no publishers to worry about. Hope they're successful.
I NEED this on my vita
Well the X1 includes the kinect so didn't think it would be fair
Sony's way of saying we'll chuck in an extra controller and game (not just for launch pre-orders) for the same price as an X1
Interesting when you compare Jim Ryan's answers to Phil's PR-BS-ridden ones
Something tells me quite a few people are getting fired...
Massive step up from E3 and they still have time to improve it even more. Can't wait to see the finished product.
"Microsoft revealed its price first, giving Sony the ability to to react by removing the previously included camera and slashing the price by $100 (something Sony denies was reactionary, but c'mon)."
Microsoft and Sony both revealed their prices at E3, why is it so hard to believe that Sony didn't change their plans in such a short space of time? It wasn't reactionary so much as it was a prediction which was spot on.
Sony taking tips from Square Enix
Really? And here I was thinking they were on a holiday
Since they failed to deliver on the promise for E3, you'd think they would have made every effort not to make the same mistake again. Oh well, can always watch it on pc.
you can easily get it for cheaper than that, I've seen many games on that list go for £5, like f1 3DS, your shape fitness wii u, dead or alive 5, etc. Might as well order now and wait until one of the cheap games pop up
*Cheaper
*Free games with PS+
*Better first party studio support on PS4
*Sony has a better track record of supporting the console long-term
*Better indie support
As for the more minor points:
*No battery powered controller
*No console power brick
they're not adding anything, you can already do that with current gen systems
"It's about showcasing PS4 in all its glorified beauty and it's not just the console. It's about the titles, it's about the games"
Yes, from that statement, Sony are definitely going to ignore the PS4. Let's ignore all the other times they've said that they're going to be announcing more PS4 titles at Gamescon.
Also, just because Sony announced fewer exclusives at E3 doesn't mean that MS has an edge in the exclusives...
Sorry did someone say the console market was dying?
