Yeah, put a JRPG on a platform where it is least likely to succeed.
Persona 5 PS3 and Persona 3 Vita. Please and thank you.
I'm thinking either embargo on MS' part or something to do with the day 1 patch, probably the latter imo.
The article which mentioned that both systems would be 1080p/60fps used quotes which talked about the 60fps but did not refer at all to any sort of resolution.
To be fair we don't even know when the interview was conducted, could have been before this whole 720p controversy. Though the silence at the moment is quite telling.
The whole "not everyone has internet" argument was more geared towards the 24hr checks impacting an offline console rather than the downloading of digital content itself.
Anyone surprised?
EDIT: Actually, looking at the interview, it seems he's talking more about things like family sharing rather than bringing back their DRM policies as such:
So the console you’re launching this Christmas is a temporary thing, essentially. It’ll eventually evolve to be the console you announced in May?
I’m happy to re-state this – all that we have changed is our DRM policy on disc-based games. We include disc-based games a...
So why exactly was this approved when all the 720p COD rumours were not?
As pointed out in one of the links from the first post, members thuway and proelite are meant to be devs/insiders, plus famousmortimer's source. It's still being posted as a rumour and highlighted in capital letters in the title, at what point would you make the jump from "hearsay" to "rumour"?
I'm talking about Killzone Shadow Fall.
This was back in May, if you've seen the latest videos you'd know they have significantly improved upon the build, wouldn't be surprised if the poly count has increased.
Damn, it's not really an option with my set-up to stick with using the wires, wish it'd work wirelessly. If that was the case I'd buy one for my PS3 asap.
Nope. Beta. Probably happening just before the Destiny one.
Coming to a PS4 near you...
Na, it's most likely the beta
Here I was thinking no one could possibly mess up PR as badly as MS...
Other than the lack of cross-game chat, which was simply due to hardware constraints on the PS3, what "best of class" features are you talking about exactly which justifies paying for XBLG?
Next gen the difference in value becomes even more apparent, especially if gaikai is included in the cost. PS+ will be giving you free games across 3 different platforms whilst Sony will be improving their servers. How exactly does this "massive cloud power" benefit y...
"Who the hell doesn't approve of free games?"
It's not that they don't approve of free games. It's that they've given their money to MS all these years and in return they are given ridiculously old and cheap games. They feel shortchanged. Can't say I blame them.
@Blaze929: Ok, so what kind of conspiracy theory do you have which would explain why Ubisoft would delay their game and consequently slash $600k off their sales predictions?
What? That article is just quoting prices from the retailers rather than stating any official RRP from Sony. Funny how you ignore this from your link:
"Sony UK boss Fergal Gara originally said the PS4 Mega Bundle would retail for somewhere within £10 of the Xbox One price of £429"
Ridiculous.
