he was definitely nervous, but that's to be expected after being introduced to the VP of "sharpening things", Kevin Butler!
damn, seems this was probably a mistake on amazon's part, the games weren't mentioned in E3.
where did you see sly collection and twisted metal? link please.
it's the same old xbox with a new case, slightly bigger HD and built in wi-fi (which they should have had LONG ago). Hardly worth buying an xbox now when you didn't want one before. This is microsoft up to the same old tricks trying to get as much money as they can.
is this meant to be project X, which was claimed to be the greatest RPG ever produced by SE? If it is then i'm pretty disappointed tbh...
maybe SE are waiting for the next sony console to be released? since FF7 is such a huge game, it would probably take 6-7 years and if they started now, they may find that by the time they are nearing the end, a new playstation console is announced which could potentially undermine the scale of the project as well as the sales. We don't know how awesome the PS4 will be and surely if SE start development on a more powerful console, it will mean better quality and we will ultimately benefit....
could this be why sony announced KZ3, LBP2, etc. before E3? This sort of announcement would certainly be so large that it would crush all the pre-E3 announcements.
it would take nowhere near as long as 30 years. Sure, you may actually have to have towns this time and not make it as horribly linear as FF13, but the number of sales will almost certainly make up for the development costs and the time and effort. There will probably be a remake at some point.
Besides, even if the scale is much larger than FF13, a lot of the work in terms of story and character designs hve already been done, so I have no idea how Wada plucked that number out...
to be fair, jaffe did call pachter his bitch XD
were these images intended to be released or not? If they were then that tells you a lot about what sony is planning for E3.
sounds interesting, can you link me to the source?
@1.3: lets also ignore the fact that there are way more 360s in people's homes in USA.
nomura also said in that interview that he is hoping to release 2 games this year. Could FFvs13 be one of them? or is that too wishful thinking?
yes, and america represents the rest of the planet <_<
i've just unlocked the odin summon and I must say that it is really fun. The beginning was to boring since you just repeated the same attacks over and over but with more attacks, summons, and paradigms I can see battles getting much more interesting.
Having said that, XIII is not as good as the past series in terms of story and the battles would be better if you could control all the characters. Also, some of the acting (looking at you vanille) makes me want to ram a screwdriver ...
HHG has totally lost all respect from me.
First off, he is a hypocrite. He talks about bias in reviews and yet he says that if mass effect 2 got a 10, GOW should get 25,000. Also, half the time he wasn't making any sense at all and it just seemed as though he was defending GOW3 due to his PS3 fanboyism, which btw is bias. Secondly, he just seemed like a whiny little kid who got a 99% on his test but wanted 100%. Dissing other game reviewers is just totally unprofessional and I h...
they are comparing this exclusive to the likes of god of war 3, uncharted 2 and heavy rain so i'm sure whatever it is, it'll be awesome.
whoever takes statistics from a discount site (which is limited to only the UK) is a dumbass. Seriously, how can you compare the reliability and accuracy of these statistics compared to those coming from amazon for example?
I'm not saying that amazon is the best source for statistics but the statisitcs from that discount site is as useful as claims from microsoft executives.
really hope i'll be able to understand the game even though i haven't played GOW1&2 because I seriously need (not want) to play this game!
they should be focusing on final fantasy VS 13 before worrying about the 3rd birthday.
