Some more backstory behind Nathan Drake would be welcome. It's been two games and we hardly know the guy, except that he is related to Francis Drake and is a pimp.
Some quiet levels like the one in the village in UC2 would be good too, just to provide small breaks between all of the action .
Crowds of people to interact with would be nice. Most of the levels of UC2 felt very desolate and isolated.
FFVs13, definitely deserves to be there.
On a separate note, what does the picture have to do with the link? XD
UC3 will be the greatest game ever!
This game definitely deserves a game of the year edition. The cover looks so awesome, I may get this just for the cover XD (and the bonus content of course).
Good job ND, can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us!
so now it's illegal for a 10 year old to walk into a shop and get an 18 rated game? Could have sworn it's always been like that, otherwise what's the point of ratings in the first place.
this didn't feel like DMC at all. They also ruined Dante's character, he was one of the most badass characters in gaming history, this guy just looks like an emo.
awesome! Now release a kingdom hearts collection :D
Good for you if you can, but try and name some multi plat games which were full of quality and have as big a world as the older final fantasy games.
well it was decent I guess, but not the best jrpg by any means. The characters were hardly great, it was way too cliche, the battle system was poor since I want to control my whole team instead of just one person and if that means slightly longer battles then so be it. Also, the best jrpg this gen can't be as linear as FF13 is.
@Jazz: it's not a case of being a fanboy. If the 360 had the superior hardware and had bluray instead of the PS3, then I would have been pissed that the PS3 hindered FF13 from becoming the great game that it could have been. People who worked on the game have said time and time again that things were cut, one even said that the amount of stuff that was cut could have made a whole new game. Logically this was because of the problem of DVDs.
Someone put Nomura in charge of SE so the company can stick its middle finger up at Microsoft and make some good games again.
@albel_nox: I've got no idea what you've been smoking but pass some of that shit to me
well no, if it doesn't matter if it goes multiplatform, can you care to explain how in the world they will be able to port a 50GB game on a bluray disk to several DVDs? Versus has a world map so obviously they will have to cut some stuff out of the PS3 version to reduce the size or cut the world map out completely and make it more linear like FF13.
I'd prefer it if they focused on making FFVS13 as awesome as it can be rather than adding more projects to their table and diverting resources. Wouldnt mind having it on PS3 though :D
This site bitches about Sucker Punch not sticking to their guns, but thats completely bs. I'd rather developers listen to their true fans about important things such as the main character design instead of abandoning their core players for the wider public just to get more money (which is what SE did with FF13). Sucker Punch is my second favourite developer behind Naughty Dog now because they listen to their fans and act accordingly, and I'm sure this game is going to blow our minds. ...
although I didn't want Cole's original design in infamous 1 to be changed too much, if this complete redesign means that infamous 2 will be released much later than planned then I would have preferred it if they kept the original new cole.
if kevin butler likes him then everyone on the planet must like him. Fact.
FF7 is owned by Sony, so no.
hopefully not, we'll get a better idea of how far they are into the development of VS at TGS
How is L4D PS3 going to be a "PS3 exclusive" if it's already available on 360?
It's probably either:
Uncharted 3
Sly 4
Starhawk
FF7 Remake (one can dream)
KH3
FF/KH Collection
or something else which is well-known enough to warrant its own press conference, so most likely not a new IP.
