Where have these people been for the last E3s? Sony has done this time and time again, and they haven't announced many major things at E3 afterwards, they've just given more information on the previously announced games.
One problem is that the next Xbox will probably outlive windows 8 as well as at least the next 2 future OSs after that, would be weird to market it as the Xbox 8, windows 8, windows phone 8 then a couple of years later have the windows 9, windows phone 9, xbox 8
Ridiculous amount of AAA Vita announcements at E3 has just been confirmed.
Hence the "pre-alpha" bit in the beginning. Nevertheless, the amount of enemies they can put on the battlefield is pretty impressive.
Firstly the demo required 3 GTX 580s because it wasnt optimised, I think recently they came out and said that the demo can now be run on just one GTX580. In addition, this article makes it sound as though the dev kit specs were recently changed, so any comment that epic has made in the past is pretty much irrelevant.
Having said that, I find this very hard to believe. Nintendo hasn't been known to care much about power, they've released new generation consoles runnin...

Tbh, Nomura is about the only good thing about SE. If he was in charge, this would have been released instead of pointless XIII-2. At least we know that whenever vsXIII comes out, it'll be top-quality thanks to Nomura.

@Eamon: I utterly disagree with you...saying that they have the literacy skills of a GCSE student is severely overestimating them.
Well we did get a pretty significant update last year with the gameplay trailer, but yes, 5 years of waiting is taking the piss, the next generation will arrive soon! Having said that, I'm sure it'll be amazing based on the gameplay trailers, it's just the wait which is torture.
Don't think it will be so easy for COD to be the #1 selling game this time around, there are just so many good games coming out around that time.
