heavy rain will definitely be innovative. I was initially not planning on getting it since i've been infected by the action packed TPS/FPS genre but reading this article has changed my mind a bit, but i think i'll wait a while after release to see how it really is.
the backgrounds in these screenshots are nowhere near as detailed as in uncharted 2 and thats the main area where it shines. Graphics are amazing in almost every regard in almost every scene.

mw2 is a pretty good game, the multiplayer will probably keep me occupied for quite a while, but anyone can see that it didn't live up to the hype and is really overrated, especially when you compare it to games like uncharted 2.

This article is comparing nintendo to microsoft's "coolness", so if we go by the banning of modders, then nintendo is "cooler" since I haven't heard of nintendo intentionally banning masses of wii modders, sure some updates may temporarily brick modded wii's, but it isn't nintedo intention to do so, and that would seem more "cool".
