You're talking about a nice mix of realism with the fun arcade fps. Usually when they try that it just gets annoying.

The whole playstation meeting was hammering that point in, it's like a PC to make it more accessible for developers and players alike.

Herp derp.

If Google and Apple have the mobile market, them Microsoft only has the PC and Gaming market. Valve and Sony working together could be seen as 'anti-competitive'.

I want them to work together, with one console meant for mainsteam gamers, and the steambox as a premium console that can easily be upgrsded, like a PC.

Dude. Motion interpolation creates new frames. Look up Interframe, or Avisynth Frame doubling. For professional use, people use Twixtor to make some really sweet slow motion by simply creating extra frames based on the adjacent frames and motion.

Because BF3 turned into a bridge between BF BC2 and BF2, lacking the necessity of specialized classes, and replacing it with BC2's simplistic 4 class system

Add Bad Company 3 to the list

Actually... Steam Box should be able to satisfy the people who like to have the fastest stuff around.

There's other factors that people don't realize, like the latency of the kernel.

I seriously hope there will be support for mods. If it's a developer's console, (and if you know anything about BF1942-BF2) you'll see that developers like modders.

What they don't like are cheaters. The only way to get modding, is to regulate it somehow, and it 'may' be more trouble than they want to go through.

All I have in my head is a nuke wiping ISA off the face of the planet.

So, not really.

I'd like it if the PS4 costed $50 more for b/c instead of playing $60/year for online access to ALL my games, ps3 or ps4.

And yet they charged for online access. You can ignore the RROD, disk scratching and other issues. There's also ads flooding the home screen.

And you seem to have forgotten that Sony only dropped it after at least a year. And that it had bluray, which at the time, was in the thousands. The only issue I have with my ps3 is updates and install times.

To fix broken link, just remove the extra %20%20 at the end of the url.

I'd say the crappy WiiU port looks better than the crappy Ps3 port.

It reminds me of COD on PC. Crappy looking regardless, it's just more obvious because everything isn't blurred so much.

It happened to me with bf3... I was like, "For real?"

Do you perhaps write any of the dialogue for the game? :D

I don't know why people worry. Seriously, the only reason why Sony had a ridiculously expensive console is because of the bluray. I was seeing bluray and hd-dvd players in the thousands!

You wanna know why bluray beat hd-dvd? Not because it's superior, but because of the ps3. Sony decided to push it for short-term losses and long term gain. Think about how long it'll be until bluray is the next dvd...
