My bets would probably be on it being Forerunner given the architecture of it. But it'd be interesting all the same if some light was shed on the Precursors in this trilogy.
You'll probably get your wish since those seem to be the only first party games they make anymore other than Kinect stuff. I just wish they would do some new IP.
Can't quite tell if this is legit or overly sarcastic. Either way it's funny as fuck.
Agreed!
I think this team in particular could do some really amazing and innovative things with this technology. Just imagine whenever you need to take pictures, you go to your camera, you look through the "lens" on the touch screen and could move the controller to aim your camera.
Plus I think BG&E would be better received on a Nintendo platform anyways, given its lack of violence and gore compared to what most PS3/360 owners typically tend to ...
I think you are taking that quote out of context or reading into it the wrong way.
I don't think he's referring to the amount of disc space, since right before he mentions high-end PCs could already play the game. It sounds more to me like he's criticizing the amount of horsepower of current gen systems.
Still waiting for official specs, but I'll be stoked if this is true. If all my multiplatform games are going to run best on the Wii U, that's where I'll be playing them.
Sounds good so far!
Yea in shape they are similar, but honestly I really like how the system looks.
I'd actually have to agree with him. I saw the gameplay presentation in the Kung Fu Panda-esque level, and it honestly looks like a slightly better version of the Sly Collection.
If only it looked like the CG trailer they showed at E3. Omnomnom
Though I had fun with Snake and Sonic, I want new NINTENDO characters in Smash Bros. not out of place third party characters.
This can't be a serious list.
The only character on there I actually see making SENSE would be Conker, and now he's a Microsoft-owned IP so that's a stretch. I can forgive Solid Snake and Sonic from Brawl, but I want NINTENDO characters in Smash Bros.
This sounds horrible. There's a reason I did all of my online gaming only on my Xbox back in the day and not my PS2. I want an online network, a service if you will, not something as disjointed as this sounds.
I really hope Nintendo buys them back and lets them show their talents. Or hopefully all of the key developers reorganize under a new name.
To be fair they have put out some great stuff under Microsoft's reign that they really don't get credit for. Conker:L&R was an awesome remake. Kameo was a great original title. Viva Pinata, although not a traditional Rare title, was probably the best they've put out since the acquisition. Banjo:N&B was actually really ...
Here's a brilliant idea, how bout Lionhead create new tech!
Seriously, that's downright laziness for any first party development studio to not build their own proprietary tech. First party teams are supposed to build games that really show of the platform, and buying the license for someone else's multiplatform 6 year old engine isn't gonna help that.
This honestly sounds really legit. Story-wise it matches up from the brief glimpses we've seen and mythology wise it sounds like something that would easily be Halo story material and not some exaggerated fan fiction. But what really makes me think it's real is that in the trailer we see the chief grab an attachment to load on his pistol, which would allude to the new AIM feature this guy talks about.
Noooo they haven't changed the score. The score remains the same, but they are merely re-recording it with a live orchestra.
Although CE's music sounds orchestrated, it's all done with samples. It's not actual live instruments. They're merely giving the same music better production values essentially.
I primarily do my console gaming on 360, yet if Nintendo actually has a sophisticated online component and 3rd parties actually make use of this controller, why the hell would I play my 360 over it, just because I simply already have achievements? Nah I don't think so.
So far Nintendo looks like they are hitting a home run with this thing, and if they do deliver, it should end up becoming my platform of choice.
To be fair, Nintendo really didn't reveal too much. Next year is when they will really blow the lid off the console.
The same thing happened with the wii. They talked about it at e3 2005, with not even a game in sight, then had their big reveal the following e3. Same thing as now.
I'm honestly really not impressed by this. Probably my biggest disappointment from the show. The Sly 4 trailer in the Collection looked much better. I'm really hoping Sucker Punch is working on a true Sly 4, because as of right now I think this looks very ho-hum.
As much as I like the Prime games, I hope they go into a different direction. I want the next game to be as big as a jump forward as Prime was over the 2d games.
